I started watching this video with a set mind that no matter what happens, you cannot live peacefully with toxic people. But by the end of the video, I think it is indeed possible. Just like they said, you cannot work on them, but you can work on yourself. Work on things that are in your control(how you react to certain situations, whether or not you take things personally),and leave the rest to Allah. Yes, it does require lots of patience but sometimes patient is all you can be because you can't leave those people. They can be your parents, your siblings, your children, your spouse. May Allah make it easy for all of us. Ameen.

A simple innocent person can be strong and caring towards such people but in the end we all are humans...not all of us can think like a psychologist. Different people have different capacities...may be we should be more sympathetic to the people who always try to comfort such people. But often fail to be successful.
