I watched this show 4-6 times when I was 12. Now I’m 22 and the comedy is just top notch. What I find interesting is now that I have been living in Canada for 10 years, I notice how problematic this show would be in a western society. They make fun of so many serious issues, which perpetuates a lot of negative narratives towards mental illness in general. But, its something you just have to ignore and out urself in Iran’s culture while watching. It’s still an amazing show with a spectacular cast. Khanoom shirzad is an icon.

Lol same, left Iran around age 12, lived in the states and europe and now this is my comfort show regardless of bunch of problematic scenes this is much better than the ones like “chahar khooneh” where there an entire character who cosplays an afghan and is constantly racially belittled and made fun of. idk what shows they’re producing today i don’t see anything that wasn’t made after 1389-1390 but i hope it’s a bit more socially aware than these
