I received my Ultra 7 yesterday and it looks even better in person than on the reviews. I chose the titanium color with the black band and it is truly a really nice looking watch. I have a small wrist and for its size it still fits perfectly. Setting it up was a breeze, but it was just for the basic functions. Your videos are always extremely informative and enjoyable. I agree, BUT if you turn on the always on display with the lift to wake turned off, you can still enjoy the face without wasting the battery every time you lift your arm.That is a nice setting combination, because most of the day your lifting your arm and it's not to look at the watch. It's to do something else.

I was just about to get the watch, but I saw they aren't allowing the app Facer. For those who don't know... Facer is a big game changer with the watches, allowing you to change the faces to great themes. I paid for the year & I like changing my faces to match my attire. I might not get it.. not like the watch5 pro is much of a difference. Great video. Loved the breakdown.

The update is coming, the faces saved on my watch 6 classic transferred over to the watch ultra so I am good for now.

Good video! I like the always on display with the lift to wake turned off. That way I can have the face lit to see and to see the time, but it doesn't brighten up every time I lift my wrist. It saves a lot of battery and I can still enjoy the face all day.

Thanks for the video. It's much easier than reading the manual. Although it's not relevant to your tutorial, I still can't believe that Samsung shipped it with that crazy giant watch band. I bought a regular Titanium link watch band. Now it looks like a regular watch :-).

I watched another video that stated the watch 7 and the ultra are the same watch. Except of screen size, case size, and buttons. The main specs are exactly the same, so why pay that much more for the same watch? I bought the Watch 7. Which ones are for the Watch 7 and which ones are for just the Ultra? Hello. Great video! I just got the Watch 7. All of the faces that I've used from the watch, display all temps in Celsius. I want them in Fahrenheit. My weather apps are set to Fahrenheit. How can I get the temps to display Fahrenheit? This was never a problem when using Facer because I set everything to imperial. Sadly, Facer is not compatible with the Watch 7, at least for now.

- 14:12 There is no Google Assistant option. Update: Google Assistant is installed on the phone. Unlike Biby, you must go through the Google Assistant setup process before it will display as an option. - To see and switch to another running app or clear out apps not being used (like the three vertical bars on the bottom-left of your phone screen) open apps and select the Recent Apps app (navy blue with two superimposed white-filled circles). It can also be added to to double-press of the home button. - Missing is the calibration of the compass. - Many regions do not have Blood Pressure monitoring installed. That can be side-loaded.

💯No one should be putting this watch on POWER SAVING mode to get better battery life. The entire idea of this watch being bigger is for better battery capacity ... it would defeat the purpose .. also, when doing that mode for a phone or in this case, it's almost like crippling the device by limiting its functions . ‼️

Nevermind the battery life. I have the watch ultra and the watch 7 44mm. I use the ultra for de day, and use the 7 44mm for sleep tracking. So i have 365 days a years of battery life.

One thing I'm curious about (sorry, it's off topic), I have the black with orange band Ultra and I want to color/stain the Orange spots around the dial to a black color so I can change bands and watch faces and not be stuck with Orange as a theme. Could always add a watch cover protector. Will add some bulk depending on which one you get, but it protects it. And they have different colors. Then if you want to go back to the original look, just take it off

After a month with this watch, i am calling it the galaxy watch 7 plus. It is not an ultra watch. If you use this for everything it was designed for, you will get about a wotk day. Taking calls, training, gps tracking, checking messages on the go, and using samsung pay. As well as listening to music, you are definitely getting maybe 6 to 7 hours. Imagine paying for a bigger battery, and all everyone is sharing is how to turn off things and saving battery?

4 Days is totally achievable. Just depends on how much functionality you are willing to sacrifice on your $650 watch. I have it set up just the way I had on my GW5Pro : Airplane Mode On AOD Off TiltTW Off TouchTW On Location Off Wifi Off NFC Off Workout Detection Off Heart rate Manual Stress Manual Sleep Tracking On Snore Tracking, O2 Level Off Skin Temp Off Setup a bedtime schedule Bixby Don't activate Google Assistant Disable I go to the gym 5 days a week with tracking on an hour at a time. Including a 2 mile walking route with GPS turned on. I measure my O2 after ever workout. I measure my BMI twice a day. That's just me though. And no, I didn't gimp my expensive watch. I have it set up to what I need and took away things that I don't need or I think is a gimmick. If I need something... I'll just turn it on, takes a few taps. I just got though a long weekend without a charger. I was nervous because I forgot my charger and no longer have safety net with the reverse phone charger. Came through like a titanium clad champ!

Make a back up in your watch 6. Than open the 7 for installation. In the following steps they ask if you want to set up as a new watch or from the backup using Smart Switch.if you do that the back up in your watch 6 is on youre watch 7

Top Gun Watch face created issues with my action button. I had my action button set to elliptical workout. When I installed this face and set a complication to samsung health, my action button no longer worked. If I set the action button to flashlight, it worked fine. But once I went back to samsung health, it no longer worked. I removed the complication but the action button still did not work. Uninstalled the watch face and that did not work. Had to reset and restore then everything worked fine. But as soon as I added the elliptical complication, I had the same problems with the action button getting stuck and not working if it was set to samsung health. Hopefully this is an easy fix for the developers.

You should be able to get 5 days out of the watch5 pro. Did you neutered Bixby and go into your permissions and remove permissions for apps that you never used? If you're using your watch for notifications and weather you don't need GPS and you need to be in power saving mode. You also don't need the always-on display either.
