Is this real? I've been mountaineering for two decades and never heard of such a thing.
@rainzerdesuАй бұрын
Yea, they're called barometric pressure headaches and if you've experienced a full blown migraine it's basically that. The pain is bad but it's the other stuff that makes it unbearable like light and sound sensitivity and nausea.
@TallulahSoieАй бұрын
It's not. It's people conflating pre-existing conditions with random factors.
@JellyMystАй бұрын
I think the mountaineering might have something to do with that. As she read out, it's connected to unhealthy living styles. Much like the recent depression epidemic, it's people developing health problems due to a lack of built-up resilience.

just get him to get rid of it..

can't. Santa gives stuff. His lore is never someone that takes stuff away except your cookies and milk.

I don't experience it and no one in my family has it as far as I know... but apparently it's called barometric pressure headache or migraine
@JellyMystАй бұрын
01:56 No, it does not. You do not owe others something just for existing, and don't let anyone - including a cute anime girl - tell you otherwise.

Where does she say you own something to someone from existing?
@JellyMystАй бұрын
@@JNV888 The timestamp. 'Living in this world' is a functional synonym for existing, and 'shared responsibility' is a functional synonym for owing others something. The connecting phrase 'comes with' then connects the first clause as directly and sufficiently causal to the second clause. Glad I could help.

@@JellyMyst Ah, so the subtitles are correct, and she didn't use other words. Interesting. I’ve always thought of responsibility as an internal obligation or duty based on morals and principles rather than a repayment. However, accountability often results in an obligation to another person, so I can see why you might consider them functional synonyms. That said, my literal interpretation of her phrase was that we, as individuals in a society, have a moral and social responsibility to address common issues. In the context of the clip, she mentions asking for everyone to experience low pressure at least once, and I assume this is the common issue we’re meant to address. I want to add that my interpretation here seems reinforced by her earlier mention of global warming also contributing to this problem. That said, I do see the ambiguity in the words you pointed out, and how they could lead to a completely different interpretation depending on the glasses you use to read them.
