I admit, I'm a naruhina shipper but damn if this had been the ending I wouldn't complain because it would have been the most heartwarming and tearjerking scene ever 😭 the way naruto touched her cheek, the way sakura slowly returned naruto's faint smile but then cried more and hugged naruto after the feeling of almost loosing her closest friend... that really showed their love for each other (although platonic) that these pair really shared ups and downs almost their entire lives together. To add, the emotions on this scene was delivered without the use of words just brilliant 👏

@@jamese5936 actually narusaku ended up together would make the most perfect sense out of the other canon couples considering how the creator & studio kept on giving hints about them developing feelings to each other throughout the show. the wholesome moments between the two could be both romantic or platonic, but as you can see lots of people see them as potential lovers. if masashi wanted them to be a couple, he could’ve simply made sakura fell for him and it wouldn’t come out of nowhere since their relationship had already been built since the beginning, naruto consistently being in love with her and she slowly felt for him. i doubt ppl will question it. though i’m already content that they’re being best friends & happily married to their partners now. it’s just kind of the creator’s fault to develop their relationship more and overshadow the main couples he initially planned.

I loved them together as a team and their friendship was absolutely beautiful. I don't necessarily think they should've ended up together hard core but it would've been great! Naruto and Sakura had both really great growth throughout the show both never giving up on their dreams and supporting one another through it it all. Hinata in my opinion wasn't necessarily suited for Naruto for a variety of reasons but i think she was written with less impact and growth. As my own personal opinion i like power couples and i think mainly because Sakura was a main character I liked her better because i saw her grow in all aspects like Naruto. For sure their team work made them a power couple in my eyes and I wanted to see Naruto with someone who could challenge him. EIther way I liked that they maintained a platonic relationship so Im happy just the same.

all throughout the shippuden, sakura seemed to have developed mature feelings for naruto unlike her crush on sasuke. minato seeing the resemblance of sakura to kushina, entrusting naruto on sakura’s hands, yamato giving hints about sakura’s feelings for naruto, sakura finally got her first kiss with naruto because she had to keep his heart beating and then suddenly hinata and naruto got married and ino to sai and sasuke to sakura 😂 That was a lot to take in but anyway, naruto’s children are adorable because of their mom’s charm and sasuke’s family is not the typical family you expect but still beautiful. The way they made those things possible was just weird but still a great story.

This ship didn’t happened because of fans.but not because of NH,but because of SS.The SS ship was really popular in japan from the start of the series.and the writer give more importence to the Opinion of the domestic audience than the overseas audience.in some of kishimoto's interviews he said that he didn’t even knew that it was that popular in the overseas.although NH was popular outside of japan,the japanese audience wanted SS so much.So,the writer had to make NH the main couple so that SS could happen.

It would have been beautiful if they ended up together but one of the reasons why they didn't is probably because there was too strong a bond between them which makes them feel like family to each other and eventually drove their relationship to become platonic. It is exactly like what always happen to us in real life when they get too close to someone it would then feel wrong to love them romantically but the love we have for them is something beyond description and something more.

I know ffs, the writer man whyyyy, he may have not intended it but it’s undeniably in the picture. I mean everything was rushed and the story went down after the pain arc. Without the proper build up of both ships it would seem that naruto married his stalker out of thin air cause he got no one else.
