A fisherman betrothed her daughter (Shingūji Sakura; the Beauty) to the God of Sea (Maria Tachibana) as sacrifice and the God of Sea sent big amount of treasure to the fisherman in return. Once the Beauty arrived at the undersea palace, the God of Sea gave her lots of treasure so she wanted to show up those to the villagers on the shore. However she soon found she became a snake, a giant, beautiful whit snake. She came to the village she used to live in, but the villagers were frightened by her image of giant snake and didn't recognize her anymore. The beauty came back to the undersea palace and blamed the God of Sea making her became a beast. The God of Sea explained that her father the fisherman prayed for rich fishery harvest and coveted wealth as well, so he sacrificed his daughter the Beauty, in the other words, she was sold for those profit but the God of Sea actually gave her all the wealth undersea unlike her father just abandoned her. However the Beauty told the God of Sea to kill her as she didn't want to stay in the Palace as giant white snake and the God of Sea tried but he can't. Finally the Beauty understood how the God of Sea loves her during this song.
