I grew up listening to Sakura, mostly as Koto music. I thought I was tired of this music, but I was wrong! I really like your performance, Alexandra.

I went to Kyoto, Japan in March. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the light of the sky gradually shone, and the elegant fragrance floated in the cold air. This music reminded me of the feeling at that time.

I am very happy to listening to this performance. In Japan, this song is played on the koto. I'm impressed that this song is in great harmony with the sound of the guitar. I would like to express respect and appreciation to Ms. Alexandra for playing the song of my country beautifully.

Alexandra, this is such a beautiful performance. I've played Sakura on the piano and sung it, but hearing Sakura played by you on the guitar is such a magical experience.

I have been playing guitar for over 50 years and I just adore your phrasing, harmonics and overall technique. My playing is primarily finger style as I am self taught by watching African American blues stylists, I could never use a guitar pick (LOL). I have used classical guitar and even purchased a lute which is a nightmare to tune :(. I am sitting here listening to hours of your music and I must express my admiration and my hope for the future for young musicians. I am a John Dowland fanatic and I'd love to hear your renditions of this master lutenist and composer.

Excellent, magnificent interpretation of that Japanese creation. It is a slap to the orientals who do not want to show their beatifull music. We are alredy tired of oriental instrumentalists who dedicate themselses exclusively to playing music by European composers. Congratulations Alexandra for this new path that you open for us in artistic pursuits. Thank you.

Her performance on the guitar of Koto Sakura is very wonderful. She reproduces the characteristics of Japanese music on a guitar, and expresses seemingly contradictory tranquility with sound. The sound of the guitar sounds like a koto or a shamisen. This is the first time for me. I think this performance should be paid more attention.(from Japan)
