I came across from one of Sal's video segment and impressed by his adorable look. Regretfully, I knew Sal 44 years after he died. I was only a kid when Sal passed on. I realized that he was one of the rare multi-talented artist. It's really touched my heart when Sal's body was covered by a sheet. A shinning star was curtained. Sadly, the murderer released after 11 years. Justice will be made in God's kingdom. RIP Forever switchblade kid.

I saw him in Austin,, Texas in the play”Marathon 33” the May before he was killed. I had the opportunity to meet him after the play, and we talked for a few minutes, he left me with a great impression of a man, deep sensitivity and kindness. His death was a real blow to me, and people found that strange, but I felt after seeing him in the production he was one of the best actors I had ever ever been able to see on stage. Even now, and 2022 I miss a chance to imagine what he could’ve done and even given more years always included him in my prayers at Mass and wished family well in my heart.

Hi, I can not upload the whole documentary because I am technically challenged. To download I need to get the DVD onto the computer and then split the 30 minutes into 3 parts. I tried to have a go with some software but after an hour playing with it all I managed was this clip. I don't even know how I managed the clip :)... There are also copyright problems with posting the whole documentary too. I think the the only reason this has not been removed is that it is only a clip..

Is someone with a good life, has a romantic relationship with a person who unconditionally loves them and lots of friends angry? No, because they know they are lucky and/or have worked for the decent life they have, so they don't need to be angry, it doesn't make sense for a successful person to be so angry and hateful. Maybe you do it for attention as you have no friends in the real world and everyone avoids you so you desperately claw in the dark for any recognition of being alive and in your warped and intellectually inferior mind you think this is a good strategy. Maybe you don't feel you can communicate with people in the outside world because you're morbidly obese (I'd put money on that being true) and you know people are judging you, so you try and be hateful to the world in return. I hope you receive the help you need to become a better person and maybe when you start being a better human being you'll have more success, be less of a failure, lose weight and form actual real life friendships so you don't have to go around shouting hatred over the internet for attention.

The reason for the murder wasn't really actually explained. There is no mention of anything being stolen. So why was he killed? Did it happen by chance or was someone actually waiting for him? If there was no robbery, then why was he killed?

In the 1950's And 1960's he was loved by Everyone in Hollywood, Europe, And latin America. He was an Idol - a real Idol like james dean, Natalie wood, and Elvis Presley. I remember how great of an actor He was, to us in the 50's and 60"s The name Sal Meneo, was like Magic. And we went to see All of his movies - including, Rebel Without a cause, with James Dean. To us, there were only three Entertainers or actors that we Would want to see, and they were James dean, Elvis Presley, and Sal Meneo. Sal meneo, could have Made a lot more big buget movies In Hollywood - the entertainment Capital of the world, but by 1965 He had been a teenage idol for Almost 15 years, and new money Was being invested in the Hollywood movie industry, with a lot of pressure from the civil rights people, who Demanded more blacks in Hollywood, and no more brown Teenage idols, or brown idols in This entertainment movie Industry. Sad.
