Chef Jacques Pépin shares his easy take on using the supermarket as your prep cook! Take advantage of your local market to create your favorite antipasto bringing together bright and beautiful colors to prepare something unique.
SUGGESTED INGREDIENTS, ADD PER WHAT IS AVAILABLE:
· Olives (Kalamata & Black Olives)
· Cheese (Feta or small mozzarella cheese balls, or both!)
· Peppers (multiple varieties)
· Capers
· Mushrooms
· Additional Salt & Pepper based on your preference
· Optional:
· Ham or Prosciutto, decorate & line with glass
· Butter Lettuce, decorate & line with glass
Mix together and give it a toss! Chef suggests to place this in a fun glass (i.e. Stolzle Martini Glass!) for service. Add a little olive oil on top to freshen up.
Iconic Chef Jacques Pépin is a culinary master who wrote the book on modern hospitality. Through our series presented by B.Wise Vineyards, "Home Cooking with Jacques Pépin" aims to inspire, educate and entertain as we bring awareness and support to the Jacques Pépin Foundation. We hope you will join us alongside this wonderful organization as chef continues to share his passion and vision for advancing culinary arts and celebrating the joy of cooking.

This is the reason I love Jacques the most of all cooks. He doesn't care about fancy stuff, he cares about food. He wants to enjoy food together with his guests and it really shows when he is cooking. Ramsay makes you feel like it always has to be something special but Jacques shows you how to make your life simple. In one of his shows Jacques showed how to make a cocktail sauce by mixing ketchup, mayonnaise, tabasco and water. I tried it out, it tasted superb and took 2min just like he said Use what you have and turn it into something special. I love him, may he live forever!

Jacques teaches people to cook well, even if they do not know much about cooking, but most other fancy celebrity chefs mainly try to entertain, or show how to cook complicated dishes that are too difficult for normal people to cook.

Why does everyone always compare the two? Gordon has an extreme passion for food and cooking which is very obvious, it's just that he has a very different style and personality. Like we all do.

The chef is always great but this editing makes me dizzy. My 2 cents: turn off the music and stop moving the camera and adding special effects, the special effects are already in his hands

I just died when Jaques casually said "sometimes I may go kill a chicken..." He didn't even bat an eye!🤭 He's so unabashedly honest. I just love you Jaques Pèpin! I loved you with Julia and I love you now. Thank you, thank for being you!😊

Lose the loud music and goofy graphics! Have some respect for this legend. He doesn't require ANY fluff whatsoever, especially as insulting and unnecessary as this. Jacques Pepin is sensational all on his own.

Hey guys! I love Jacques! I've watched every one of his videos on YT I can find. But his audio is distorted. Over compressed/limited. I'd be happy to help with any of these projects. I'd do it for free just cause I love this guy so much. HMU if you're interested!

this is strange. also, it may look exciting, but how do you eat a whole slice of ham, dripping in oil if you can't even cut it. this is the difference between french and Italian food mentality. no one in italy would ever serve anything like that
