For a while, I've been thinking of a way for this to happen and I think I got it: What if Piccolo turned Evil again? The idea is simple: it would involve the Majin curse from Babidi. The first change to occur would have to be that Vegeta gets frozen instead of Piccolo. Secondly, there'd have to be some slight build up of frustration within Piccolo, and honestly, this could go either way. He could honestly be as mad as Vegeta for the same reason. After that, it would require Babidi scouting out the latent Demon King Piccolo within him, and then rather than a Buu saga, you get a Piccolo saga. If you do it this way, then he would have Kami as well, and he could potentially become an Evil Orange Piccolo. This resurfaced into my mind thanks to that hyourinjutsu animation
