Salamander Space Marines VS Baby Yoda | Animation

Hey guys! This is a parody of Salamanders meeting Grogu or more commonly known as Baby Yoda. This is a play on the idea that the Salamanders are the kindest Space Marines and how that relates to Xenos. I went a little experimental with the style of the animation going for a pixel animation style in something you'd find in a lot retro games or modern indie games. My other animation style didn't really work as well with this dialoge so I tried something new. As always thanks for watching! And I'm looking forward to doing more Warhammer 40k parody animation in the future!

I'm not familiar with Dr. Who unfortunately. However, you're not the first person to suggest these guys so I'll definitely do a cross-over eventually. Just because I'm not a fan myself doesn't mean I want to exclude other sci fi fandoms.

The Imperium does let non threatening xenos live. They can even be sentient, like the jokaro. I don't know if yoda's species would be considered non threatening, though.

Comparing Force Wielders and Psykers is like comparing Tau FTL with the Imperium’s: The first are generally weaker then the second (at least until we get into the top tier individuals like Palpatine, The Skywalkers, and The Mortis Gods arguably), BUT the first are also MUCH more safe and stable regarding their powers then the second. So Jedi and Sith can go all out easier in situations that could see most Psykers explode or invoke any number of daemons by accident.

The Force is like Wind Turbine energy, and the Warp is like a massively powerful yet unstable nuclear power plant, and when it leaks, everyone in the vicinity mutates a bit. They intentionally were thinking of radiation when they made up the warp and psykers, 80s cold War and all.

You just described psychers in both Warhammer and Star Wars. Majority of them are too weak to do anything cool, and are fed to Golden Throne, but with training and certain tricks they can slip the net and become dangerous with time if left alone. Obi Wan for example was so weak in the force almost no master wanted to teach him. He had to learn how to become Master of Trolling. Dark Side of the force is very much in Warp in Warhammer Fantasy. You use bad emotions and brutal actions to gain easy power. While Birght Side of the force is like Warp used by Eldar, or even Emperor. You use good emotions, forces of nature, and pure symbolism to turn the chaos spagetti that is the warp into good force. The raw warp is just it, raw warp, raw emotions turned into power. Psychers can either take the good parts out of it, or bad ones, by separating one from the other, but it is still technocally the warp. It also helps that Star Wars never had War in Heaven or does not have Choas gods, altho the Force could be counted as 'chaos' undivided, or if you go with tv show, the Father Son and Daughter can be Nurgle, Khorne and...Slaanesh? Or Tzeench, but with boobies. Whatever, before Slaanesh showed up.

@@michasalamon8315 I agree, the warp is controllable if you know how it works. Without the proper understanding of the warp you're prone to misuse it the same way a force user can accidentally use the dark side if they don't know the difference. It's why unsanctioned psykers are dangerous and put down yet we have sanctioned psykers freely studying under a mentor and are able to grow in power over time. Psykers such as the Eldar race understand the warp more than humans do and are able to use it without problem.

That’s a pretty good comparison. The most powerful force users, strong though they may be, pale in comparison to the strongest psykers (pretty sure we can all agree that Yoda and Mace Windu together could never hope to take on the Emperor), but their power comes with basically no drawbacks. You almost never hear of force users using their powers so hard they die (it happens, of course - I think that’s what happened to Luke in TLJ - but at a MUCH lower frequencies than psykers)

Note: The Imperium allows any species that does not pose a direct threat to the Imperium. _(Granted - if they seem as if they'd one day pose a threat, then away they go. Usually they massacre any species that are to the level of building villages, cities, etc.)_ In fact the Imperium occasionally hire Kroot mercenaries, they gladly let the Jokearo run around tinkering with things, happily ignore the Dark Watchers, and there are a few dozen other species that the Imperium lets hang around.
