I like the transition of one of our local players. He used to brick a lot so we call his deck salamanbrick. Then he transitioned into using like handtraps of many now he's called saladman, he still used to brick to all the handtraps. Now he has the correct ratios he start to pop off like crazy winning like many games. We now call him salamangreat. (True story btw)

the hell are you talking about? I rather have a duel like that than turn 2 OTK all the time. what makes runick unfun is to play it with floodgates that's it. Runick is a deck with a different win condition and that's not cancer, you're just salty because most Runick player you had encountered are probably floodgate decks which is fair in my opinion. Interruptions in the other hand is fun to play against especially if your deck is highly consistent just like this video's deck Salamangreat, if you don't like interruptions in Yugioh in general maybe play decks that don't suck or don't play at all.

Totally agree that’s it’s completely toxic. What made me dislike Runick the most though is the drawing. You not only get to use them from the hand with the field spell while attacking the deck and destroying whatever monster gets played but you also get to recycle then draw on opponents turn too is ridiculous. All before ya can enter Main Phase 1 of turn 2. No amount of handtraps ever made me feel ok playing against that.

I’ve been testing the new SALAD cards in my deck, and I have to admit, they BOOST the deck exponentially! And I have a suggestion that I saw in another tutorial video: there’s a LVL 6 FIRE FIST SYNCHRO that helps S. SUMMON a LVL 3 FIRE MONSTER directly from the Deck. It’s very helpful!

This deck is already expensive even with the addition of SD and now it even more Expensive with the fact tou had to get the same monster twice. I was hoping Raging Phoenix effect would be more Boss-monster like kinda similar to Pyro Phoenix

This deck was not expensive before because everything except the Phoenix was in the SD so you were good to go with just 1500 Gems, Now its more expensive, yes but not even that expensive since the old Phoenix got reprinted in the new set as well same with promethean princess so you just need to go into the new pack, for some other Decks like heroes for example you need to go into 3 different packs or something. Pyro Phoenix was a very bad Bossmonster and way to slow, he is just good now because of code of soul, but they could have put him in the SD as well, to not do so really was a weird choise but as I said some decks are way more expensive

I am using 3 Code of Soul and Barone with it. My end board usually looks like 1 pyro, 1 raging phoenix, 1 Barone, 1 SP, and Roar and Princess in GY. Some people also use the fire fist synchro. I have a Salamangreat fire to 1 since I don't like it locking me into only fires.
