I just donated blood last week. In the US, they don't prick your finger to test the hemoglobin level any more. They put a ring-shaped sensor on your thumb. In under a minute, the sensor measures and displays hemoglobin, oxygen saturation level and pulse rate. I'm sure some blood donation centers in S. Korea have it. You just need to check around. Thank you for donating blood & saving lives Sungmin-nim! I donate blood every 8 weeks and unlike what most people think, it really does not hurt!!!
