Interesting and the comments too. We can all learn. So respond to the comments. I understand that the Jews pray in a similar manner as Muslims Salaah. Some Rabbis even say that they also have the same raka-aat. They also take wudu. The word wudu , that Muslims use , is also not in the Quran, but is in The Torah. Muslims circumcise, which is also not in the Quran, but in the Torah. The Quran says that The Prophet Muhammad came to confirm what was before. He demonstrated the Salaah. I was a Judo instructor for over 40 years. What I could demonstrate, could not be written. So the good Judoka learns through practice, under the guidance of a good instructor. Same as in swimming. Another demonstration was how to perform the Hajj. There is no mention of walking with your heart on the Ka'bah side. This was a practical demonstration. I like your ' instruction manual ' example in the video. What's missing there is that some instruction manuals also have illustrations. Then there is the heart aspect. The emotions that people learn. Even in Judo and in swimming. You need to relax. You cant be tensed. There are subtle movements. How would all this be detailed in text. The Arabic might have a regional meaning, but the Quran itself had a New Meaning when The Prophet Muhammad came. Research shows from letters that were written by Umr ibn Alkhattab to Priests, that the spoken Arabic of his time was not much different from the spoken Arabic now, except for words that were imported through Colonization and Modernization But the Quran Arabic was unique and still is. The Prophet Muhammad did not only come with the verses, but also with its meaning. The most literate of his time, could not understand every verse , without his explanation. The Arabic as used was also not restricted to one religion, or to the region of revelation. The Quran even refers to ' others who know ' and makes a clear distinction between ' who knows ' and ' who does not know '. As an example, at my ages of 66, I know something of the 1960's that my son will only get to know as history. For me it was a reality. The Quran too makes reference to ' having shown you'. The Prophet Muhammad was shown. He spoke with that conviction. I don't see how we can divorce The Messenger from The Message. I know that much of probably most of Hadeeth are fabricated, through politics. Still , we have an innate thermostat for Truth. We don't have to be intimidated to accept. Still we can't be arrogant to write our own by ignoring , drowning ourselves into ignorance and call it change.

At end of the day the answer to the truth must be flawless and Hadith has many issues that would push people away from truth, can we find some truth in it? Possibly, is there some good direction to take from it? Possibly but that doesn’t make it divine nor does it constitute an obligatory form of practice which we have based and formed our faith around. also Whoever thinks or says that 5 or 3 prayers were imposed by God،he is directly or indirectly accusing God of not knowing these cities in which the sun does not rise or set for months complete daylight or darkness, and that God made a mistake when He imposed these timings for the 5 or 3 prayers (salat)!!!! and there are no exceptions to Salat times in the Quran. Did God did not know about the existence of these areas? of course not ,But the wrong understanding of salat is the reason if you have evidence of salat exceptions out of these times please provide.

And they found therein a wall about to collapse, (فَأَقامَهُ) (So he set it up) . [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment." (فَأَقامَهُ) (so he set it up) so the meaning of (اقيموا الصلاة) (aqimuu alsalat ) will be to set up or to correct or to improve the way of communication with Allāh by contemplating with His Book and implementing His commands, also the meaning of (اقيموا الصلاة) (aqimuu alsalat ) to set up or to correct or to improve the way of communication with every human interaction between people, between the government and people, or between people and the government. (اقيموا الصلاة) (aqimuu alsalat ) is a continuous adjustment,set up, correction and improvement the way of communication between you and Allah and between you and people,government... also between each other like governments and Countries.

I don’t know if the people watching or the creator himself would call themselves “Quranists,” but following the Quran, which is God’s word, and not other man made books/guides falls under being a so called Quaranist. I call it true Islam. How do we find like minded people? I have had a hard time expressing my thoughts on topics like these because many Muslims are following other things that God did not authorize. According to my analysis the word is from صل which means to commit, to connect, to achieve, to link or to adhere, and more related meanings including the following, dealing or facing, all these are under the connection. And it comes more than 200 in the book. The the ritual prayers can also be called as the word because it is connection between them and their target.

Read verse 20:130 in Quran. “So be patient ˹O Prophet˺ with what they say. And glorify the praises of your Lord before sunrise and before sunset, and glorify Him in the hours of the night and at both ends of the day, so that you may be pleased ˹with the reward˺.” This verse insinuates that you have to pray 5 times a day.

@@truthseeker123 Salam brother, I mean no disrespect. I believe there are only 3 salat in the Quran as in verses dawn prayer (24:58), middle prayer or afternoon (2:238) and evening prayer (24:58). If there are no physicals ritual prayer how come Quran showed that there are 4 steps of ablution in verse (5:6), face the Qibla (2:150) and salat positions (2:238,3:39,22:77,48:29)? Mind to explain?

Interesting viewpoint. I can definitely understand the sentiment. In the video, you mention the word "Salah". What about "Salawaat", as in 17:78? Establish Salat at the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night... Would you translate that as: Establish a straight line at the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night... ? I agree the Quran doesn't state the 5x daily prayer. From my research, I find that it mentions 3 daily salat (Fajr, Wusta, Isha). I can also agree the different rakahs, etc., are nowhere found in the Quran. However, the Quran does mention ruku and sujood. I can see how one can make one ruku and one sujood and that could be their salat. But in the video, it seems you're suggesting that salat doesn't even consist of ruku or sujood. Is that what you're trying to say or am I listening to you incorrectly?

The Quran speaks about Milatil Ibrahim ("creed of Abraham"). Everything related to our rites were passed down generation by generation with no disputes in the actions. So the Quran does not speak about this as it's a passed down tradition, must like how to fast, the zakat % etc. The only thing you need to do is purify your prayer and remove all forms of idolatry. God sends messengers to settle disputes. Dr. Rashad Khalifa was God's messenger and he pointed out that Salat was intact since Abraham and did not need to be elucidated in the Quran. Salat is not prayer. It is contact with God. Muslims polluted Salat by mentioning Abraham and Muhammad in tashahud and by the ending of fateha with Ameen. Why did it take 200 years after the passing away of the Prophet for hadith to show up?
