Saleen mustang twin turbo over 900 rwhp!!!

THIS IS NOT MY CAR. NOR DO I KNOW THE GUY WHO OWNS IT.
Let's also clear something up.. this car has 900 rwhp(rear wheel horsepower)... that's different from bhp(brake horsepower) which is measured from the engine. The bugatti veyron has 1000Bhp, not whp(power to the wheels, since it's awd). rwhp is ROUGHLY 15-20% less than bhp. so a car with 1000bhp probably has around 850rwhp. With that said, this car has probably around 1100 bhp... so please retards, don't say that the veyron has more hp bc it clearly doesn't. Whether it goes faster is completely different and if your e-penis gets bigger after stating your opinion, then go for it.
With that said, here is a description of everything done to the car THAT I FOUND ON THE WEBSITE THAT I FOUND THIS VIDEO FROM(for those who wonder how I know so much about it):
This car started out as a 1999 Mustang GT 5 speed. The car retains most of the factory interior except for the gauge cluster which has been replaced with the Florida 5.0 Setup. I will give you a rundown of what the car has.
This car made 888Rwhp and 787+Rwtq on the dyno BLOWING the tires of the car on the rollers. Car was tuned by Job Spetter Jr from Turbo People and was still unable to fully tune the car because they couldn't get traction on the dyno. This is the car that WILL spin at 100+mph. Car retains Power steering with a custom P/S pump added to the otherwise factory power steering and braking system. The turbos on this car are low mounted, so you can't see them from the engine compartment. They are hidden neatly behind the front facia of the car, the turbo inlets feed right from the bottom of the saleen skirt. Car does have an oil scavange system as they are mounted so low.

99% of this car is custom 1 off. You will not find another street car like this anywhere. This car is no doubt magazine material, and if taken to the right events, you will get coverage for it. This car is simply a work of art, but requires a driver with the balls to handle the power this car puts out. With slicks on, Job told us this car will make the 1000rwhp mark with no problems.

It's a blow off valve (or hooter) from the turbos it makes that "wee wee wee" when the pressure is released (aka when the driver applies heavy throttle and then comes out of it when shifting).

Just so any1 knows that sound is chatter from the wastegate from all turbo cars. It is one of the best videos of chatter coming from a cars wastegate if not the best. Another 1 that sounds good is the P2 Prodrive from Subaru, it was on Topgear.

Okay pplz put your prejudices aside for a moment and lets look at what really matters here. It's the engineering that matters here, regardless of brand or place of manufacture. Make any engine more efficient and of course your gonna see power and torque output go through the roof. Adding more air and fuel to your engine effectively makes the engine bigger, make it spin faster = more power again, balance and cool an engine properly = yet more power. Thermal and mechanical efficiency is king

@Mustangsaregirlcars driving fast in a straight line is actually very fun, many others will agree too, its also fun when theres a car next to you that you are racing. there are many cars out there that suck at turns, but for ford, theyre not stupid, they have mustangs built for the track. for example, the 2000 mustang svt cobra r, but driving in straight line does require skill, with some power those tires will spin when you step on it, the skill is keeping it from spinning out

@67stang721 Yes, but it's a lot more complicated than just bolting up a turbo to a fuel injected engine, slapping it on the dyno for a couple hours to get a decent tune, and driving away. You need to invest in a carb that is made for forced induction. They are referred to as blow-through carbs. They need to be set up to handle 15+ PSI of fuel pressure, and you need a forced induction/carb specific fuel pump that will not bypass fuel. To sum it up, an N/A carb won't work good for a turbo engine.

@kiknchikn2060 Actually, you're wrong. Bugatti's top speed is 253mph. SSC Ultimate Aero has done 256mph although is capable of up to 276. THE fastest street legal production car in the world. The Bugatti has 1,001hp on a quad 16 cylinder vs the twin turbo V8 Aero. The Aero is less than half the cost and has 1,183hp. The Bugatti weighs well over 4,000lbs where as the Aero's curb weight is around 2,750lbs. The Aero is SUPERIOR in every single way except 0-60.

The power made from the engine then goes into a crankshaft which turns a flywheel which turns a clutch pressure plate which then puts power into the transmission into the differential which spins the wheels with large amounts of force and makes them spinner faster then they can handle resulting in loss of traction? just saying.....

cost wise since its a new edge saleen just the car is gonna run about 50K and then another 25-30K on the mods considering its a TT and u can tell by the low idle that it is cammed and there is obviously major engine work done to it to handle roughly 1000+ BASIC HP
