Right from Airport pickup by Sheikh Saleh. he made us feel like family. This man puts in lot of effort in his work, he follow his work like religion and an extremely patient throughout gentleman. Thanks to Saleh for his passion, enthusiasm and extensive knowledge about historical and cultural aspects of the old city. His knowledge is just not limited to his personal experience and stay in the city . He has immense academic and Islamic knowledge apart from history and archeology of the old city. We covered a lot of places and Saleh never rushed. He bought history to live and made it very interesting. He offered great recommendations on what to do on free day. His respect in the city is immense, clearly evident through the refreshments some homes provided us( lady at Sultan Ayubi Home ) . It was great cos I thought we got special treatment and behind the scenes knowledge too. Amazing guide, full of knowledge, extremely patient and understanding. Great sense of humour at times ( Part of solving differences with Algerian Brothers ) Orphanage Lunch : This was a last minute thing but alhamdulilla it was very well arranged . We could only think of sending saqda or watching these kids through digital media. But , Ibada tour has just given us a first hand feeling of giving sadqa at right place ( Palestine Kids ) who need the most. The Lunch with Kids gave sense of immense satisfaction that our sadqa is going in right direction. They sang their national song and read some Surahs. All of us in the group were glad that we bought smiles on their faces and would always cherish this wonderful trip with the way it ended. Overall Experience: ***** ( 5 Star ) What could be better/Suggestion : These are my personal suggestions and might not be relevant to everyone . Itinerary should be driven by clear agenda with daily breakdown of activities involved. Clarity on what to expect on tour. ( Religious vs visit to any non Muslim locations ) . I was of the view that we would be visiting other religion sites and also Dead Sea for any floating on water. But after having discussion with Shaikh Saleh and he pointing genuineness of those other sites. I think it was wise decision not to see non Islamic sites in detail with chances of any confusion being crept . I would have appreciated if this was told to us pre tour. Guide book would be of great help, which gives a bit of history on Islamic sites we would visit . Creation WhatsApp group earlier that couple of days ago . The group would have known each other better. They was lot of my time wasted in solving petite issues of Algerian brothers. We could have planned to kept them separate from day one to avoid any of these , had a group been made and communication allowed for people to sync in. Again ibada tour drive the agenda and it’s entirely their call on this . But I see myself loosing 20% value cos of the situation that happened . Again , both are lovely people and I am sure it was situational and these thing will not happen 9/10 times . An app giving a breakdown of activities each day. I would be happy to dedicate few days on this along with Ibada tours and Sheikh Saleh to create an app, so that any new groups can benefit . Situation that could have been avoided : Tour with larger group and Bus ride was overwhelming. We could have done away by getting down at few place rather than spending 2 hrs for lunch. Religious tours are not like picnic, we come here to learn about history behind these places . Personally lack of sleep to due to hours of consultation for both our Algerian brothers and sorting out their differences. This was the only downside of my trip. I wish you all the best in all the future endeavours in this noble cause that you are doing towards all the holy tours and may Allah reward Ibadatour’s in abundance and increase sheikh Saleh stature. Ibadatour has managed this well but Brother Saleh is star on the trip. I have made friends for life alhamdullila!
