I was a big fan of Salehe, but they really dropped the ball on this release. His reaction to fans complaining about it, showing off his StockX prices and acting like we owed him for "cancelling bot orders" was incredibly snobby. Sold off my 'Water be the Guides' and picked up the ALD 550 Natural Green instead. No regrets.

IN DEPTH SIZE GUIDE - HALF SIZES TOO: I’m a Men’s 7.5US across the board. Nikes, Jordans, most Yeezys (I stay TTS for 350s because I like to wear them practically laceless, but I should size up to 8). For my regular Croc size, I wear a Mens 7, Womens 9. I heard a lot of chatter about these running large, and even Salehe himself said to size down. The question was: size down from what? Your TTS in other brands? Your croc size? There were a lot of questions people still had. I hope the information to follow can help shed some clarity. With me wearing a Mens 7US in Crocs, I thought I’d be okay going with my regular croc size. However, after reading some other Reddit forums, I read that they fit even larger than crocs, and to size down even further. I had heard also they fit similar to the “All Terrain” Croc model, which has a similar strap system and wide structure to Salehe’s. “A Mens 6 is what you’re telling me to buy? It feels like a lot to size down….” I couldn’t be happier that I bought a size Mens 6US and sized down a full SIZE AND A HALF! They fit perfectly, even with pretty thick socks, and I’d be absolutely swimming in a 7US. They fit wider and roomier than normal crocs. The fit is very similar to the All Terrain Croc… VERY similar. So if you can find a pair of regular all terrain crocs to try on (at your local Dicks Sporting Goods or local mall), get the size that fits you best for that particular model. Final Conclusion: Size DOWN from your REGULAR CROC SIZE. And if you are a half size, size a full 1.5 sizes down. You will not regret it, unless you have incredibly wide feet. But once again, with the All Terrain try on test before you buy, you’ll feel comfortable knowing you bought the right size, especially if you’re paying resale. Hope this helps! You know, I've been a big fan of Salehe Bembury for a while. I own the 2002R Collab and had been waiting months for the pollex drop. With that being the case, I was prepared as soon as I received the mailer list password to gain early access to purchase the shoe. However, even though it took me under a minute to login, both colorways were sold out. The whole thing felt really bad and put a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I'm guessing not a lot were made because the resale prices are astronomical. I don't know, but I hope all the hype results in a restock.

I do know that if you do end up shrinking them too much, you can put them in boiling water for a minute and then put them on, it should stretch back out to fit your foot. They most definitely did not make enough of the shoes. On top of that, the drop itself was horrible. It might not be Trophy Room levels bad like how others are saying it is, but it was still terribly done. Hopefully they release more of the shoes. It makes no sense to make a whole new mold just to drop a limited amount of the items. Plus, it's evident that many people would like it, so Crocs and SB would both benefit from more drops. Just drop them like how AMM or UNDFTD does, so people get a fair chance.

I believe there may have been a bit of a breakthrough with sintered metal 3D printing within the past 2-3 years, that enables complex, hi resolution moulds to be made in a quick and (comparatively) low cost manner. It would never make sense to create moulds the traditional way for such a limited run, regardless of PR value.

How can it have a big impact when no one got a pair? I feel like you're mixing up the controversies affect on searches with it's popularity. They are nice, but really nothing truly groundbreaking, and in the process he's shown himself to be a total ass. Ignoring the controversy around this shoe feels like whitewashing the reality. Salehe 100% lost more fans than gained them with this release, but you've not even acknowledged that 🤔 Edit: Sneakerheads are sick of getting emotionally manipulated. Resale etc and attention are so high due to low stock only, and releases like this should be widely panned by both consumers and reviewers. It's just so strange to see no mention of it when you've critiqued the Trophy Room's for the exact same bs.

Love the crocs, resale is almost at $500 a pair… crocs flopped this release big time. Also didn’t help that #Beaspunge only worked for clothing. Never once were any sizes available. Also how did #SaleheBembury cancel bots and rerelease the crocs? Seen lots of people getting them afterwards, but how??? The site had a password on it days later. i wear a size 12 in all sneakers, and have size 12 crocs that fit comfortably. i think crocs should not fit tight like a basketball shoe... also they shrink and form to your foot with time and heat. i have a pair of pollex in the mail size 12 as well. really hope these dont run larger than regular crocs like everyone else said. you say same size as other crocs and i hope youre right!

I think this has to be two stages of molding -- first they shoot the upper, then they move it to another mold and make the sole. Or maybe some kind of two shot mold that does a similar thing. Either way, it is pretty wild to make a whole complex mold like this for a limited run of shoes.
