yeah but to be honest I pre fer it to end right there, it just goes to show the people of Salem are forever lost and can not be saved, they are so full of corruption to the point on insanity. The look for impurity everywhere they go but can not see it within. The witch hunt is the reason why they are in this sorry state they are in, but they still continued it. And as for the witches as sad as thier lives may have been but, they have dug their own grave, all of this for power and control but in the end it brought thier own demise at least Mary was able to be with john

Stephen Brucculeri yeah, she was my favourite in season 1, then I was disappointed, and now I can't stand her. Her evolution was interesting, but she deserved better. There were a lot of possibilites, they could have chose another. There are so many crazy witches in this show. It could have been good if Anne had been different.

Hell have no fury like a woman scorned. Anne may have done some terrible things in the name of unrequited love but Cotton treated her like garbage after finding out about her Witch Hood. Cottons sacrifice didn't stop Black Sunday. Just postponed the inevitable. I thought god would save him and reward him with safe passage to heaven. But it seems he is property of the Devil.

Senate300 when Cotton found out she was a witch, Anne took control of him by making him swallow her rat, she locked him up... and no mention of what happened next with Cotton's baby... you can't blame Cotton for the way he treated her after that. she received the love she deserved

She went from sweet girl to zero empathy for anyone even Cotton. I hate that so much. They also never really explained Anne's more demonic features (I was hoping for awhile she would turn out to be a fallen angel reborn through the Countess) and lost her memory until she rediscovered her powers.

yeah. I mean, they could do it, and Tamzin Merchant is good at playing crazy girls. But that was too sudden, they should have developped it more to make it credible.

David Hamilton her decline was believable enough to me. She wanted to do good but everyone around her treated her like she was already evil. She tried to fight for cotton but realized he'd never love her with or without the child she carried so she said "fuck it". Notice she spared John and Mary because she once loved him and he saved her. It's not like she didn't give the others a chance to fall in line with her, they simply chose not to. They chose to be brave at the wrong time which is why The Countess held her tongue and admitted defeat, however like anne said, she'd learned everything she needed to know from her.

Jess In Comments I'm not happy with their happy ending actually (ironic much?). It felt like a cheap slap on happy ending of them running away from Anne with their tail between their legs, especially uncharacteristic of Mary. It felt forced, as did the dismal endings of the main cast singlehandedly by an Anne who did a random 180. But whatever.

BlackRosePetalzFall Well, this season was not originally suppose to be the last one. They cancel it so the producers and writers had to do something quick to finish the series. Yes, it felt rushed because of that and I also don't like how Mary just left without fighting back as the badass she used to be. But at least she was free from her contract with the devil, free from the primal tree and free from everything which is what she wanted. They were not running from Anne, is more like Anne had compassion of them and helped them to get away. I'm so sad that Isaac had died and Tituba had such a horrible ending after all she has done.

This was about suckiest ending ever! I don't mind Anne's new position among the ppl of Salem, she always struck me as a mega bitch anyways, but I think Cotton didn't deserve to be where he was, so what! He was in love with a hoe before he married bitchy, possessive Anne.

Nevaeh Siavii that's it! & it sucks because I feel like a lot of the show, even though I enjoyed it, didn't show a lot of magic, it was more about how they would stop the evil from winning, I guess you could say...in all seasons, not just this one. but yeah sadly this is the final season, the creators told the network towards the end of season 2 that they were ending it after 3 seasons, so at least it wasn't cancelled with the season ending on cliffhangers or anything because that's really shitty when that happens with television shows.

Didn't like the ending myself. Wasn't satisfying they way they ended it. It is kind of hard to say what I don't like without the spoilers. Lets just say I hate Ann and I do not like the Mary John relationship. Then there is Cotton and Isaac.....

I didn't have the feeling the serie was finished. I feel like the only persons who had a real ending was Mary and John (and the characters who died, of course). But the way Dorcas looks at Ann, and the last scene with Cotton... that was screaming "we cant a season 4! we cant a season 4!". Now, I'm waiting for someone to write a fanfiction where Cotton will come back, save his baby and defeat Ann with the help of Dorcas.

So, I finally brought myself to watch this on Netflix. And man, Ann Hale. Wow. It just seems like it was unfinished, though...like, their could be/ should be -more to the story...Where was god in all this, ya know?! Was that devil kid, really just playing with himself? It seems like. Especially cause, the ending just didn't seem so happy...? Just blah...with Cotton in hell...I really just hate that she stole Gloriana's baby. It's just so disappointing...lol

Ann Opened the door to hell which released the Devil's soul. Since Tituba put the body back together he is able to take that body back
