@wbgrandson If you think about it, making this style of music work "live" is extremely difficult. All lot of their music is edited to get that signature sound. It's complexity cannot be replicated by a simple show on stage. They mentioned in an interview that their live performance needs work, but really I think they just like making music more. I like that :)

I find it interesting. It's both a magnification and a distortion of goth culture. It's like having a fever and watching an old scratchy silent vampire movie, and you just see bits of close-ups. The music evokes in me impermanence and decay. You could get the best musician in the world and he couldn't expres that, because it needs to sound like this music which you perceive as crap. The part that you perceive as crap is probably its beauty. The beauty of the beast.
