Very sad to say we had to cancel our 20/10year anniversary trip to Salem because of the whole pandemic and everything ..and us coming from Florida😭😭😭 Wife is very Sad 😔 .. But yet we are planning on going next year 2021 . When things get better. Derek millen Hope u see this . Nice tour today Derek, you must go inside that thrift store, when we were there last Sept we went inside and they had loads of props from the new Adam Sandler film ‘Hubbie Halloween’ that’s due out this week. They had just finished filming there and I’m not sure how the store got them but there was loads, was so tempted to buy something but not sure we would of got it home to the UK 🤪

hi derek- i have been following your youtube sites and you give invitation for one to go out to see Salem- so i booked my hotel and am heading there this weekend-- now i heard to go to MA we have to get tested for covid if coming from one of the states in high risk- im coming from Jersey so i am wondering are they checking for our tests? i am only 1 day away and now have to test for myself and kids- please let me know if u know anything or seen anything

Jacqueline Fabiani Thank you for watching and enjoying my KZbin content. So NJ was exempt from quarantine or test.. I just looked again and now NJ is no longer on that list.. Nonody is really checking and asking for your results. It’s not being policed but hotels and Air BnB May ask and I know some stuff in Salem were asking (Peabody Essex Museum).. I say if you can get a test before you come please go in the AFC Urgent Care website and set up a date for the Rapid Test which you get results in under an hour.. Again, nobody is asking for your test results here but just do your part by taking the test.. Here is note info at this link www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-order

Thanks for watching.!! As for the quarantine, it’s honestly the honor system.. Nobody is really checking at all for test results.. I heard hotel and Air BnB may be and the Peabody Essex museum.. I recently traveled and just got a rapid test when I got home to MA and got the results 1hr later.. If you are coming from out of state other than the 5 exempt states please do your part by getting tested before or right after you arrive..

My husband and I were in Salme this weekend. We traveled from New Jersey. We arrived Saturday and Twilight house was pretty busy. I didn't go in at the time. We woke up early on Sunday (7am) and had breakfast at Reds. When I went to the store , they were closed. I should have checked the store times. I can't seem to find a website. Do you know if they have one ? I googled the store but just the store hours come up. I wanted to purchase a hoodie and mask. Thank you for all your tips. It was our first visit and watching your videos helped ! We went to the Nightmare Gallery, ate at the Lobster Shanty and Reds. Nothing disappointed us.

Elexis Contreras Yeah.. So you are suppose to.. Either obtain a negative test before you come or get a Rapid test as soon as you land . It’s the honor system.. But if you are staying at a hotel or Air BnB they may be checking.. But nobody is walking around asking for your results.. But do the right thing and get one.. I did as soon as I got back from Florida after visiting family.. AFC Care are everywhere and do rapid tests with results under an hour..

I visit Salem every year. I'm debating if it's worth going this year. My favorite attraction is Gallows Hill the Lost Museum. I haven't seen you mention it in any videos.

I’ve been to Gallows Hill last year at some point.. Never the museum though.. This year will be different for sure, but if you live local I still think it’s worth visiting.. Yiu just won’t have the extra bells and whistles of the normal October festivities.. Whatever you decide stay safe and Happy Halloween🎃

Terry Berrios Ha... Good luck getting inside anywhere.. I went again yesterday and places were over an hour wait to get in to get a table.. No drinks unless you get food.. Most restaurants close around 11pm-midnight.. No bats are open.. Only restaurants.. Yesterday (Sat 10/10) was super dangerously busy.. I may not go back again this year..

You might be interested to know... And I don't know for a fact, I'm just sharing what I've learned but... I heard that the REAL Gallows Hill that they don't tell people about is just up the Hill from that Proctors Ledge Memorial you showed. The Giant Hill with the Salem Heights Apt Complex (12 Pope St.) on it is said to be the actual location of the hangings. And this comes from testimony of an accused witch named Rebecca Eames. Right there where you were at the memorial, almost at the corner of Boston St. And Pope Street is Sunshine Laundry. Located at 19 Pope St. That location used to be known as the John McCarter House. Rebecca Eames claimed to have witnessed the hangings FROM THE HOUSE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL. From the John McCarter House/Sunshine Laundry, you still have that view from where she said she stood. While its more commonly believed to be the very small outcropping behind the Walgreens. Because if you're at the McCarter house, and looking at Proctors Ledge where its more commonly believed to be, you're not really looking uphill at all. All information actually points to the location of the Salem Heights Apts and the hill they're located on. Make up your own minds but she makes a lot of good points and shows us the exact locations. JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
