I'm still waiting for CAOS Salem to reveal himself to be an incredibly powerful being. I felt that it was kinda hinted at at some point in season 1 when he defeated a powerful underworld creature in like 5 seconds, but apart from that and a few occasions where he helped/saved Sabrina, nothing spectacular has happened (yet). Still, it would make sense that, since Sabrina invited her familiar to come to her willingly, an equally powerful being as her would answer her call.

I think that the voice actor for Salem did adopt one of the cats that played Salem in the live shots scenes as there were 4 or 5 cats used over the seasons. All which were rescues at one point or something like that. I've got 4 black cats of my own and let me tell you that Hexanbeist who is long haired is just like Salem only female
