What a Beautiful old colonial town in the heart of the coffee region of Colombia.
You MUST visit this place!
It's super easy to get to!
We got the bus from Bogoto to Armenia then a little mini van to Salento (there is no direct bus from Bogoto to Salento)
We stayed at Walkers Guest House really close to the main plaza in a private room.
It was clean and well looked after and also the reception help with any information you need for tours!
Please check out El Patio for a meal/drink with a view also, TRATTORIA URREA SALENTO for the best pizza and pasta!
Calle Real the famous street is great to stroll along and also check out the view point at the end of the street! it's a good few steps up, but we'll worth the view of Salento town.
For tours we went to the main plaza where you find the jeeps and a little hut that offered the rides to Valle de Cocora and also the coffee farms.
Finca El Ocaso Salento is the best rates coffee tour. You can choose a basic package or an ultimate package it's all up to how much you love coffee!
Cancha De Tejo Los Amigos is where you will find the game of tejo!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go and play this fun game! also grab a beer while playing!

We just went there few days ago. we went with a large group and didn't get enough time to enjoy the play. I regretted so much that we did not get enough time to enjoy this amazing place.
