go on, it's not the first time, I'll nod my head to your syllables, doubt you're cynical. plough on regardless, oblivious I'm not even listening at all. jack knifed, and I'm tuning out. unfold my arms, draw back your guard, draw out new scars. go on, this is the last time I'll cast my gaze (and we all search for the dots in the scenery, or the slightest smile, we're all tom boys for tabby cats) ...and hold her stare. jack knifed, and I'm tuning out.

the feeling of knowing your glory days are passing you by
@rhcubdАй бұрын
wth are utalking abt glory days are whatever days u feel glory within - necessarily subjective im not trying to bemean to you, but rather mean to the afflicting person inside of you and us all - a person we all are trying to learn to live with and adapt our lives to.
@hoddupwaitАй бұрын
@@rhcubdprobably just meant the days of youth and having the feeling of wasting it and not doing enough or as he said , the feeling of knowing your glory days *of youth* are passing you by
@rhcubdАй бұрын
@@hoddupwait yeajh i still disagree theres no one telling u u have to be or experience something at some time or another - eveyrones different and everyones path is different the only important thing is to be conscious if u are unsatisfied and try to improve however u can with what u can. this idea of glory days of youth is something from movies and tv and general culture that doesnt nec. have to be true at all - everybodys different, in fact theres been studies that show people are happiest during their 30s (from what i can recall it was thought because during that age they are most responsible for other people which gives them purpose) stop comparing yourself to other people and start being more kind to yourself (a hard, but necessary, action) this grief over life in the present is disgusting and i wont tolerate it after having been sunk into a grave of it myself and been lucky to have dug my way out. just keep trying with twhat u got.

@@rhcubd thank u

@@rhcubd but just because you yourself have gotten out of that mental state , doesn’t mean it stops for the millions of other people who have dreams and goals , but constantly get reminded that they are not doing enough due to family, mental, and financial problems , but again thank u, i do stand by the fact that it’s a hard but necessary action to get yourself out of that state of mind , everybody does , but not everybody is strong enough to have the will for it.
