Law should be as such that offender suffocates at mere thought, draconian if you may. If a business is found guilty of embezzling sales tax -be it a single offence-, fine a prodigious amount (say 60,000 per offence with of course some exceptions to be made in regards to protective parameters set by law). It is difficult to find the total amount of misappropriated value or the extent to which a business is operating within regulations and that is where resources seem to be being wasted. It is best for an administrative body to know its limit of administration and in the case of Pakistan the only optimal solution is extreme law with extreme enforcement, immediate in effect and sensitive to single accounts. If something is happening, it is because there is little consequence for that happening and in Pakistan the weigh of law is about that of a cotton fibre, if that can not see positive change then nothing can.

Why don't you discuss such things about UK or US.... q k ye baat aap bhi janty hen or hm bhi k jis pattern pe sales tax evasion Pakistan me hota haai (jesy k Aapne btaya) same pattern pe VAT evasion UK me bhi hota hai, I am sure aap k ilm me ye baat hogi.... Or same audit procedure waha ki authoroties apply krti hen..... So i think you should not criticise Pakistan directly 😃
