Very nice video and informative to use along with new LWR commerce sites, I have the following questions 1. Can we use these storefront APIS for guest users carts ? And 2. will these support loading the cart items for guest users?

I have been using some of the storefront actions and they do work for guest users! I have not used the load more one specifically but I imagine it would work as others I have used like adding item to cart have worked.

have you used the imperative api call to addcartItem in guest user context
@amyherz13693 ай бұрын
@@abhijitzende1069 to be specific I have used CartItemsAdapter, addItemToCart, trackAddProductToCart, ProductSearchAdapter, CheckoutInformationAdapter, notifyCheckout, getSessionContext (not storefront but commerce api). all are working as a guest user

Hey! Yes as the other replies mention, you for sure can use the imperative api's in a guest experience. There are a few that will behave differently depending on the settings you have in your experience. For example, if you have only view enabled for guest and not full checkout for guests then then you wouldn't be able to add until the person logged in.

Thanks for the video! Does the "Allow Cookies" switch in Experience Builder->Security & Privacy affect the operation of Imperative APIs?
