The ruin of tsamud its called al Ula, now opened as tourist destination in saudi. it's horrible how people come to that cursed town to dine and having an attraction, while the Prophet himself forbid us to come near that city unless we remembered the heavy punishment for the disbeliever. I just can't even fathomed, how could they do that?

One of the pictures featured of the palace carved out of the mountain is from a place in Saudi Arabia called Midan Salih ‘the place of Salih’. So yes that beautiful palace is attributed to the people of Salih. Hope that helps! 😊

I'm a Saudi I went to Madain Saleh when I was 12 I've seen their place and I was lucky at the time to hear that new places has been discovered I asked my father how when they are Mountains he told me the sand was covering the mountains in some places and after a heavy rain the found many huge tombs and that the Mountain was deep and they found mummies in there and Gold and idols that what my father told me and about the place of punishment some say is was at alhijir but some says in Wadi Qura south Tabuk .

Al Salam brother , as we are watching these stories with you and Allah (THE GOD) mentioned these prophets and their people in the QUORAN for us and the rest of men kind till the end of time to learn from them , as you mentioned the WEST and how it’s similar to HUD people , all those people believed in ILLAH (GOD) but those GODS are not THE GOD (ALLAH) so ALLAH send prophets to correct their concept of GOD and who GOD is and what does he wants from them , so as we are learning from these stories I ask ALLAH that he make us among those who ALLAH guided them to know who ALLAH is and not among those who have taking Other GODS as their GOD

19:40 that is exactly what the Islamic understanding of a disbeliever; someone who knows the truth but because of pride or whatever other reason they renounce it. A disbeliever (kafir) in Quran does not mean anybody who is a none Muslim, it means a person who is fully aware that the message of Islam is true and deliberately hides and belies it. And those are always the people we see in these stories facing the wrath of Allah.

Few of the pictures are from Al Hijr (left over) some others are from Petra in Jordan. the people who carved Petra in Jordan are from the off springs of Thamud as well many generations later. they are called (Anbat or Nabatis)

The place they are showing on the screen is Petra in Jordan and another location in Saudi. Very similar style and architecture. I have been there and it's truly beautiful. You should visit Jordan. It's full of amazing history and culture. I'll be going this summer, again 🙂.

Very emo😭. Thereafter Hud's and Aad sent shivers thru my body realising so many similarities to events, pples worldwide happening now! Almost an analogous situation what happened to prophet Hud and Aad tribe to current global situation. Allah swt examples as reminders to modern-day gloomy events. The then powerful Aad with overwhelming hubris can be interpreted as a metaphorical of modern-day events, a contemporary imagery of what ultimately could be the wrath of Almighty ALlah swt. Masya-Allah! SubhanAllah! Astaghafirrulah al-azim! Signs of the coming wrath as predicted by our Rasulullah alaihi Salam, beloved prophet Muhammad, s.a.w are rearing their heads and can be evidently witnessed now. Shivers! sheer shivers. But those with tauhid, deen let's just be ever-prep just like in the quranic narrations those few believers of prophet Nuh & Hud and espc that of prophet Muhammad s.a.w ie pbu them all. Amiin.

4:45 This is Petra, it is in jordan it was build by nabataeans who were there 7000BC, Thamud on the other hand dwelled in the region of Al-Hijr in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. but the pictures were very similar to what was described to be Thamud's houses!
