Salilji was not so broad mentality like shankar.only single duet of sumanji with rafi in royalti time.one gazal in madhumati by mubarak.he does nt want to promote other talented singer in hindi movie.

Salil Chowdhury is free to choose whom he will take, and whom he won't. He didn't came in Bombay to exhibit his feature of mentality - broad or narrow. He came to present the whole 🇮🇳India beyond bengal the magical mesmerizing tune & melody of his own. How many people in tinsel town display broad mentality? Kishore Kumar? Lata Mangeshkar? Or Sridevi? Many stalwarts (including them) showed height of selfishness and bad gestures/vibes against others either for the sake of their career, or out of their upstart pride and vanity. Salil Chowdhury at least behaved decently. And what do you❤ think of yourself, Sir, that you dare to accuse SalilBabu of narrow-mindedness? Make your character better, and only then point your fingers towards others.
