My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. Your wood stove would do a great job, put you a big deep cooker of water on the stove and will put moisture in the air. That is what we used to do on our wood/coal stove. My Mother would also put a cinnamon stick in it to give a great smell in the air.

Wow, love the greenhouses - they're huge! I can imagine them full of great veggies, and it looks like there are other garden beds around them, I'm betting for potatoes.
