In 2017 my daughter wanted to take me to see puddle of mudd for my birthday. Saliva preformed......and kept performing. Wondering why i asked a security guard what was up....turns out some people are so blessed they are ignorant and puddle of mudd was a no show. However disappointed i was not. Always liked Saliva..but now I am a true fan. They rocked their asses off, killed it, made me feel 20 again. My daughter was killed shortly after in a car accident so that is a birthday memory I will never forget. To Saliva thank you, you saved a concert but made a mom & daughter have a lifelong memory . RIP my angel eyes a mother has never been more proud of a daughter

@calebhohneke84823 ай бұрын
@@TigerWoodsDUIcrash I just love Killswitch in general...One of my fav bands. When Howard was with them, the band was more melodic to accompany Howard's singing. Tons of great memorable riffs/songs....And now they are considerably more heavy because Jesse's vocals fit the more aggressive styling.... Adam's singing fits better with Jesse's vocal style too so we get to hear more of Adam D's wonderful voice. A huge plus imo. I never really got into the Howard vs Jesse debate that people like to go down though....Whether it be Howard or Jesse, i'm just stoked that Killswitch is still going and dropping new material every couple/few years. I'd say that's a big win for us KSE fans. :)

I got free tickets too see these guys in Detroit in 2007!!!!! I for sure knew them… and I had noooooo clue how absolutely amazing they are to see perform live!!!!! They fckn did amazing. They played a couple of amazing covers…. Completely shook the roof and bounced after atleast 2 hours of straight playin. I spent some time with their guitarist at the time after the show…. He was a super dope dude… and we were about to leave together to get to a ride…. But I fckn hesitated and probably missed one of the best times of my life. However… I’m still blessed…. I been able to have many best nights of my life before and after…. The year before in 06’ is when Robert Plant dropped his new album with the old bass player… John Paul Jones (an absolute legendary event) smell the smoke of all the flower burning up on the grass hill at spring brook in northern Detroit with an amazing person who gave me free vip tickets that were 4th row seats…. Got too look them both in the eyes…. And wow…. Just seeing the eyes will bring you in and tell you a story everybody. This was very awesome to go to both…. I was front row at the Saliva concert…. Fckn bringing back!!! I’m over here commenting flashbacks hahaha Not all flashbacks are good for me personally…. But I’ll ride this wave everytime it comes in. Thanks for reading, if you did. If not.. it’s still a blessed day.

What a vibe! So great to see a massive nümetal revival nowadays, but it seems that this time round there’s a lot less of the “don’t give a shit let’s have fun and bounce around” attitude. It’s as if this generation takes itself and life too seriously. I’ve listened to probably every single major modern nümetal band and many of them are great - but none of them seem to be in it for a good time and a laugh. Silly Goose maybe, but still not the same.

This song I would play for one of students Zion who often sang songs about gang life, one in particular Murder on My Mind. He teased me about my music which helped me form a connection with him. That bond was never broken. He began to see the value of other genres of music. But everyday during math he would sing Murder on My Mind. And I would play this song. My heart still hasn’t healed from losing him. But this song brings a smile.
