One thing that could be added is that Travis may not only helped the group out due to having befriended Sally as a teen, but because Travis might be in love with Sally, as during the scene where he cries in the toilet stall you can find a love letter in the bin that is speculated to be addressed to Sally, and because it's heavily hinted at that his father is abusing him, shown by Travis having a black eye in his teens

Saw a bunch people talking bout how a sequel was announced to start releasing this December. So my assumption is it was a underrated game that flew under radar initially, the developer has since been gaining a following and making a name for himself and the hype for a new one mixed with him getting more renown has led to this game resurfacing and finally getting so well received. That be my guess. Like what happened with FnaF in a way, Scott made lots and released a lot of games prior to FnaF but once FnaF was finally well received and made a landing soon as he as sequels of FnaF started getting around suddenly FnaF as a whole made a splash. So maybe a similar thing here.

i feel like sal’s execution is partially ash’s fault. let me explain before you hate on me. first of all, ash had known them for years prior to the mass murder done by sal, so how wouldn’t she believe him? second of all, how do you decide to see if sal is telling the truth by going in the treehouse ON THE DAY OF HIS EXECUTION?! she had THREE YEARS where she could have checked it out. in fact, she could’ve checked it out even before the trial! third of all, they literally had maple being corrupted as full proof that not only was sal telling the truth when he said he had to kill them, but it also proves the existence of the ghosts.

The different deaths why make mercy kills creative its possible the cult can mess with a persons memories the elevator wasnt working how was sally going to commit any of these sally was played like a fiddle not by choice everyones memories were done in its also possible near the end i can’t remember his name sees you Thinks you did it but you dont actually attack him its what you were made to believe and so was he when he was really attacked by a cult member and survived he was made to believe it was sally as the killer walked away and sally met him at the door he was already injured. Larry died in his tree house cause was suicide perhaps he knew he was infected or something else got to him sally taking over the girls body is real its magic sallys mother was killed by the cult anything you see in game is 9/10 not a dream at all Adison was evil from the beginning the tea had the goop and its how he infected everyone while you can drink it i think canonically your not really supposed to because your suspicious but the game cant always stop you he was why everyone was infected does it not seem a little odd for him to be handing out tea to everyone at the drop of a hat it was all mostly there from the beginning Originally the therapist actually believed sal when he went to the tree house but larry not on purpose accidentally scared him thus he fell and broke us neck the cult replaced the therapist the original was probably going to get sal free had he survived the tree issue the cult want sally dead and to use sally to put all the blame on as just some crazy person who lost it

Maybe not hallucinating together, don't think that's possible, but if Sal made it all up or kind of got lost in his nightmares and doesn't know what's real. Most of the game and story is on his point of view, his memories etc. and there's no one to confirm that. In the end when Ash is trying to prove him being right, it might be just that se made up the picture or it was taken when Larry was still alive - doesn't really confirm anything. She was just really desperate to save her friend. I do believe Sal tho, just thinking about theories. 😁

I see a lot of people missing this, Clare Nettles ( the journalist talking to sal) Is actually also an impostor replaced by the cult like Charley and Dr. Enon, we see the real Clare Nettles on the news in chapter 4 on tv in Todd and Sal's house. It's not that important but it helps the story make more sense and shows how the cult got a big grasp on everyone around, also Travis actually had feelings for Sally and that was completely skipped over in the video when it is in fact a big reason why he helped in the first place. His dad being the cult leader and an overall religious person would never have accepted his son being homosexual, hence why Travis resorted in bullying and lashing out at Sally when Sal told him '' You kiss your daddy with that tongue ? ''

Man this took me back. I played this game all the way through and loved it. Hated the ending though. Never made sense to me. Just no backing for the occult stuff like Larry traveling through the void even though he’s already dead, and the other ghosts never aging just… Eh. Everything else is good though. Agreed. In the first 4 episodes everything was seemingly fine, I loved the character backstories and developments, the puzzles, The sad scenes. I could connect with the characters and feel their emotions however in the final episode everything happened too fast with not much explanations to back it up almost if not much care put into that last chapter. I kind of wished they would have finished at episode 4 after sals execution.

I mean he could be gay lmao unless the creator confirmed he isn't, all we know is he is attracted to Ash. Theoretically he could be bi or pan etc etc. And that's only gay sexually, he could very well be gay if he identified with nonbinary or other gender identities. I totally get you though, one of my favorite aspects of Sally as a character and the MAIN character is his very unique way of not nonconforming to gender norms, and how it's not made into a huge focal point, but instead just compliments his character. And all of his friends simply love that about him, complimenting his pigtails and his reclaimed nickname. Even when Travis calls him and the gang gay, he simply says we're not all gay, but Todd is, and he says that with pride. I love all of the gang for their kindness and open mindedness, from disabilities to lgbtq+ to poverty. They're never unkind to anyone (like some of the oddballs of Addison Apartments, or even Travis) until that person shows they deserve it (like the cultists). It makes the whole cast and game itself very inclusive and enjoyable for all kinds of people. But I just wanted to clarify that if being gender nonconforming made Sally gay, that wouldn't be a bad thing lmao. It's definitely nice as a fight against stigmas that you can't be gender nonconforming at all without being gay, but we also shouldn't act like someone also being gay on top of that is a bad thing, bc it isn't. Striving for equality and open mindedness shouldn't be a game of you only get one unique trait/one minority trait and that's it or you're too much. We should be happy for cis/straight gender nonconforming rep, AND gay gender nonconforming rep

I know it's such a small detail but the multiple earrings being something considered a telltale sign of being a girl is so funny to me lmao 😭 like all gender norms aside, which Sal was always breaking anyway, this game is so obviously alternative as hell, the soundtrack to the fashion sense of Larry, Ash, Maple and Sal, to the music that introduces you TO Larry-like I'm surprised people don't know that jewelry and stuff is hella common among alt male fashion lmao like I get why people get confused on Sal's gender, the hairstyle and the name were purposeful to do that, Sal was intentionally gender nonconforming but the earrings were like the most typical thing for a guy his age in the 90s 😭😭😭 idk I just thought that was funny lmao

One of my favorite games for years now. It has so many components to it with so much meaning. I will forever love this game. From the cult, demons, journal entries that Jim Johnson wrote, to Evelyn’s VHS tapes, the neighbors in the apartment complex, and literally everything about this game has stuck with me. Dude the style of this game made my feel so happy, ive grown up on flash games and this game has that flash game feel, I didnt know how much i missed those type of games until i played Sally face, Chapter 1-3 was amazing with perfect creepy feel, they did go a little bit far in the later chapters and that ruined it a little for me, If it stayed the same mystery horror feel it would been a 10/10.

I am incredibly sad from this game. I remember watching this game when the episodes were being released and just.. Wow. Incredibly depressing. This made me cry again, remembering everything. It is so interesting and incredible. I bawled my eyes again. Such an underrated piece of perfection. Edit: the incredibly strong part for me was def also the fact Sal died the year I was born. I remember always watching tombstones w the birthdate 2004 and thinking ,,What if a part of them is in me" when I was little. It was always interesting to me

I actually started getting back into the series recently and episode four makes me immensely sad. Not only is this a process of saving others, but it requires a multitude of sacrifices as well. That means beloved characters we knew and enjoyed just perish at the hands of a knife. It’s horrible, yet it sort of needed to be done. Watching this video just gives me back memories of Sally Face, but also sort of reminds me a part of the game I wish I investigated long before.

Kay- i dont believe it was Ashley's fault for Sal's death- even if she tried to find evidence other than finding Larry as a ghost in the treehouse Sal still wouldve died. It was already too late, its been three years yes but just imagine how desperate for all those three years shes been trying to get him out, she wouldnt have thought of it. She was the only one who didnt know about the ghosts, so of course she wasnt going believe Sal and Larry's word. She didnt know what to believe, regardless of her knowing them for so many years, because they never straight up tried to prove to her. Maple was out of town visiting her grandparents if i remember correctly, ash couldnt have possibly used her as evidence. Another major reason why she couldn't have used her is because maple wasnt there. If she was she would've died too. Rip, Sal, Larry, Travis, Chug, Lisa, Henry, Soda, and everyone else in the Addison Apartments

God this game is so good. I also love how so many people assume that because they left the fandom that it's been lying dormant but it's always been active, it only recently started booming again. I do seriously love this game though. I remember being obsessed with it all throughout high school. It's such a crazy and heartbreaking story.
