I feel myself going broke at so many beautiful colours. Although some of them won't work for my skin tone or taste, most of them do. I'm also mega-jealous at how perfect your nail shape is. Home manicures take a crazy amount of work for me to maneuver polish over my hilly and fan-shaped nails without creating a mess.

I’d love a side by side comparison between Sweet Berries, Pomegranate Punch, Cherry Amour and Beet It. All of these are so beautiful. Many are similar to what I’ve purchased or mixed myself. I’m 57 and been mixing colors for myself and friends since 4th grade. Still if I had an unlimited budget I might purchase the whole collection. Thank you for sharing your swatches. Just the right amount of time.

🤔 I really struggle with streaks or 'bald patches' with sheer polishes so maybe the wide brush on these would help. Plus the colours are lovely, I am definitely going to need those bright pink shades 🤩

I only bought one, Crystal Blue and it was like painting my nails with nail polish that was filled with sand. I was able to get good coverage in two coats like Hannah, but I can even tell in her video that that color is streaky for her too. She did a good job swatching, but I know for the average person it probably doesn't apply as smoothly as some of them did for her. Which one did you use?

@@eileen58 I have 2 bottles, Elderflower power and Romantic Peach. I havn't painted my nails in months (my original comment was 5 months ago). My nails dried out from the polish and remover so I gave up. My health is important to me. I can live life never painting my nails ever again just so I can keep my natural nails nice and healthy.

@@adriahaddy258 Yeah, it can be super drying, nail oil is important for keeping them from getting all dried out. You can actually put oil on them before using remover and it helps a little. For me, painting them is the only way I can keep them from breaking and peeling all the time, my natural nails are just very brittle and unhealthy. But honestly, if I could have my nails look nice without having to paint them, I probably wouldn't. You're very lucky! :)

If you're not moisturizing your hands and cuticles before *and* after polishing your nails, and everytime you wash/sanitize your hands, then your nails will be dry. How skin and nail biochems work.

I can appreciate the effort of vegan and plant base products. But no actual vegan is going to run out and buy this, because it's not an actual vegan product since the company tested their formulation on animals. But awesome video.

Seems like they are counting on ignorance to sell these. Why would a company who tests on animals promote a vegan nail polish? I mean it's nice that the polish is vegan, but they don't advertise cruelty free for a reason. Here's our vegan polish, but don't worry about how we formulated it.

Probably not; none of their other formulas last more than a day for me without chipping or flaking off (compared to 7 days with OPI or 10+ days with indies like Moon Shine Mani)

No polish will last for long if you: Don't use base and top coat. Don't cap your tips with every coat of polish. Don't wear gloves when dishwashing, gardening, or doing anything with chemicals. Don't keep your nails and cuticles moisturized. If you're not using at least lotion every time you wash/sanitize your hands, your polish and nails will chip. Don't take cooler batbs/showers. Super-hot water is bad for your manicure, and for your skin, too. Washing your hair is also murder on polish (and for most people's hair). Try washing every other day, if you can. My manicures with even cheap polishes like Wet 'n' Wild last 7+ days because I always do what protects my nails. Well, they last if I need to make them last that long. Lately, I've been doing my nails every 3-4 days. But when I start getting swamped again, I'll still have my 7+ days of polish holding strong, because I'm in the habit of doing the little things that make my manicures last.

Love your videos, but it's a shame they truly don't live up to the "good" and "kind" aspects in the name since they condone AND pay for cruel animal testing in China. 😪 According to ethical elephont: Essie and OPI, 2 of the most popular nail polish brands, DO test on animals by selling in China. Sally Hansen is another culprit.

@@sallyhansen thank you for your reply. However, according to your FAQ link provided, only Cover Girl is listed as not being sold in China. While it's good to know attempts at dialogue with China to end their policies on downright cruel and unnecessary testing on animals, Sally Hansen nail products sold there have to be animal tested under their current laws. Therefore, I won't spend my money on them or others such as OPI and Essie.

They test on animals and now they’re trying to grab consumers who are trying to live ethically but aren’t yet educated on what that means. Hi Louie, I know what you're saying... I tend to think of these as "classic" shades rather than earth-shatteringly new and different. Like when you know you just need a basic pink creme. I think the company is appealing to what they consider the majority of buyers. And maybe a few Old Ladies, such as myself!!! :D

Agreed - I’m an “old lady” and just today got a metallic blue and a gunmetal glitter from China Glaze from Cvs (ie another drugstore, widely available brand). I wear traditional colors too, but no need to have a line of 30 pinks and reds.
