it's very touching my dear , but this is nothing new thanks for sharing so that many others in guyana can know they are not alone, my lil advise is that any of her side family should not have children as to avoid the suffering. many would say y i suggested, in other countries doctors are advising the same, until they got a cure of which not very near. ms can started as early as 15 years old. i pray for her innocent daughter that she does not have to endure the same, i wish i had a magic to touch her to heal her . salma u can live very long but as u know the pains. anyway please get help moving around because u mention many falling and get black and blue, the last thing u want is not hitting your head or break bones please , i pray that u have some comfort. salma u are a beautiful angel we all love you

Not many get the opportunity to let others know how they are fighting day by with a family hereditary sickness that is taking a toll on the physicality of their body. Despite this she is still positive in her purpose for those around her. An unimaginable state of mind to dwell in. May Allah bless her husband and everyone else who is there for her. Shabna thanks once again for an inspiring story that will shake many of us to the core. Take not good health while we have it as a personal endowment but as gift from the creator. Therefore thank him everyday. I join with others in thoughts and prayer for the sister. Allah hafiz.

Salma you're coping very well. Keep up the positive attitude ,I am a nurse here in the USA i had a patient with MS , she had it when she was 37 years old she passed away when she was 85 . I am so proud of you. ❤❤❤❤❤

It's not a rare disease. it's a genetic disease. It's an immune system disease. Miss salma, hang in. They are starting to come out with immunotherapy for these immune system diseases. I have lupus for 23 yrs. I'm now having car-t cell therapy (immunotherapy ) to put my lupus in remission. Hopefully drs will start doing other immune system diseases. I wish you the best, and hopefully, you get some help and hope for your children future they will be disease free from MS. ❤❤❤

If I am not mistaken, science has reached the point where they can identify the gene that is responsible for these kinds of recurring conditions in the family's gene pool, and remove that rogue gene. Not sure if and why that science is not being utilized. I know they do it for plants and crops and animals. Not sure about humans. For now Salma and her family needs to take it in good stride and be positive. Of course our prayers goes out to the family and future generations.

Thank you so much for this comment! I hope that one day it will be utilized… Popular scientist, Stephen Hawkins who had ALS, did a lot of research… but he couldn’t do anything about his condition. His health declined significantly.
