I am stunned by listening to this gentleman’s understanding of Pakistan’s past history and of current events. Let’s start with his comparison of Bengali massacre of thousands and probably millions of innocent by Pakistani soldiers which was fully backed by West Pakistani people and their leaders except leaders from NWFP and Baluchistan. Most of West Pakistani population was fully behind the genocidal army, without whose support, the army wouldn’t have committed such heinous crime. It’s unfair to blame Gen Yehya, who was fully prepared to hand over power to Mujib, but it was Bhutto, who sabotaged power transfer. Next to compare Bengali massacre to so called massacre in November 24 in Islamabad, one cannot be more nonsensical, where according to PTI claims, that total 12 people were killed, but still no details of the deceased were released. Even if accept their claim of twelve casualties, does this amount to the definition of genocide ? Did this gentleman forgot what IK and PTI government, that killed dozens of TLP protesters ? Was that genocide ? It’s power hungry politicians like Bhutto who conspired with the Generals to let East Pakistan go, so that West Pakistani hegemony can be maintained for good. Similarly IK, knowing full well that his one men Tanga party has no chance to come to power, so it conspired with Generals and Judges from 2014 to dislodge Nawaz Sharif, who won fairly with 2/3 majority, finally managed to come to power with the help of Gen Bajwa and Gen Faiz by massive rigging of 2018 election. Pakistan would have been a successful democracy now without the criminal conspiracy of PTI led by IK. PTI and IK single handedly responsible for the current existential crisis facing Pakistan with destabilisation of economy, security and emergence of terrorism, which has reemerged with active collusion of IK with Taliban and TTP.

Bhutto was no leader. He was not only Macavillian but also a characterless person. I personally know what I learned from a senior officer in Fed Gov who was from Bhutto's village/town. And what Bhutto offered my real Aunt a very beautiful lady who came to visit Pakistan. She was so scared that she had to cut short her stay in Pakistan and returned to the UK.
