Sometimes it's disheartening when I'm listening to this people's testimony. This events happened decades ago at there prime ages and perhaps No wife, no kids, no grandchildren. They were trigger happy with torturing and violating people's rights be it Rebels (who attack our country and killed innocent soldiers), thieves, criminals and innocent people etc. Fast forward it to there today's life i assumed they're married with adult children some even with there grandchildren that never knew this event before, to seat here and narrate it is so difficult very,very difficult... we all did wrong things at some stage in our life but changed for the better. Personally i feel sorry for them at some extent because having a dictatorship leadership is tantamount to ridiculous atrocities! I wouldn't call the witness a lair because deep down i can understand what he's going through and it did not worth it. LET'S FORGIVE AND MOVE ON AS A NATION!

You articulate it in your own version and I understand but I disagree with you. This people has deliberately accepted the system. They are expertise and educated as they called themselves, they know what they are doing at the time. They have all options to desist from what was happening. The truth is they enable dictatorship and accepted to be used as tools. They were enjoying what they were doing and enjoying it. The honorable thing that they could do was to resign and have faith. Considering the fact that we are will Muslims, we might clear our doubt about the process in which our nation claimed to convert the reality what had occurred. We should consider that for whatever man did should be either punished or take accountable for the wrongdoing. TRRC is being appreciated by many victims and wrongly accused individuals, but bring accuse people and make them speak for some of the actions that they were forced to by command and in someone point, they might speak about our honour departed souls whom we should be praying for their good souls instead of damaging their image in the past events.
