When I was a little boy in the '80s we used to play on the fisherman's tractor at Clachtoll. Once someone accidently let the brake off and it rolled down the hill. only a collision with the bothy in the film stopped it rolling into the sea. Needless to say all the kids scarpered as quick as possible! I remember Duncan Kerr who lived at Clachtoll and was one of the fishermen. Not sure how old that film is bit he or his father may be on it.

Angus, Thanks for posting those names - will add to info on Assynt Angling Research site where there's other archive material. The kids are my mother/uncle/aunties - it was taken by my grandfather, William Eldridge (they visited every year from the 1950s onwards - we used to have a small cottage in Clachtoll). There's some more videos including the Lochinver Games in the 50s if you click on the link on this page or go to the Assynt Angling Research website. Thanks Adam Brown, Substance
