I love salmon . I bought a salmon en croute (frozen) before Christmas. I haven’t had it yet. I treated myself to the Cosori toaster oven. It had £50 voucher off on amazon so I’m going to have a go at cooking it in that. I did notice this year that a lot of the m&s party foods have air fryer instructions on . I didn’t use my big gas oven once over Christmas 😁😁🥰

Hi Mandy, we cooked salmon en croute in the cosori oven air fryer. It was great, we’ve had it in the dual blaze as well. I had to cut the corners off to fit it in 😂😂😂😂😂 we had 10 adults and 6 kids at Christmas. We had forgotten how slow our oven is and had to transfer to the air fryer 😍❤️😘👍

Hey Graham - make sure you check your receipt if you get reduced items from Lidl or Aldi. I've had to pull them up on missing those reduced labels over and over.

Hi Graham and Wendy, looks a good substantial meal. Unfortunately i'm not keen on fresh salmon, i'll tinned salmon after i've picked all of the skin and bones out of it. I eat sea bass, sea bream and rainbow trout. I buy the fillets. I've just ordered some sea bass on my online shop. I do it in the dual blaze, it does it lovely. Did you do your potatoes first then knock it off and add the peas Graham.

Hi Sandra, the dual blaze cooks everything doesn’t it. We really enjoyed the meal. I did mess up with the camera and yes I added the peas later. It was ok but I can just put them in the microwave for 3 minutes so it’s not worth messing about really. Other veg would be a different matter. 🥰😍❤️👍

When l was young my mother would send me to the butchers around the corner to get a piece of beef for Sunday dinner if I remember right it was about the same size as your joint and she always said make sure it's not more than 10 shillings those were the days

I can remember what my mum said Sixty years ago but not what Wendy said up yesterday 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️ I remember asking the grocer for a pounds worth of potatoes because mum gave me a pound note. He laughed and said you will never carry them all you mean a pound of potatoes for dinner. He was right 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍

Have you tried cooking potatoes in microwave. I cook small potatoes with a little water, covered for 7 mins. Even do them this way for mash.

Hi graham and wendy oh that beef you got willmake a good roast with yorkshire puds roaties and veg and gravy that stewing beef will make a nice pie with mash or chips and gravy i think the meat from the butchers is do tastier than the supermarket ive got half the lamb leg boned and rolled in the freezer and porkchops nice thick ones i went the butchers last week for pork chops i asked thd butcher to cut thick ones for us i got 6 they are bagged into 2s we had 2 on friday they were so nice love to you and wendy love fran xxx

Hi Fran, that beef tasted lovely with our Sunday roast. We are always on the lookout for these occasional bargains. We bought three reduced joints for £18 that were over £25 full price. It’s better to buy a larger amount and freeze them as you have.love Graham and Wendy xx

Hi joy, I put 400ml of water in the pressure cooker. I’ve tried to make it a habit as I use 400ml in the soup for two of us then it’s easy to remember. The peas only want a few minutes at the end really. I prefer using the microwave for frozen peas, it’s so easy. ❤️🥰😍😘
