That coho was the highlight of the trip, what a beautiful fish. You were lucky to land him after he took you under the ledge. I just got back from there, not as many people and not as many hook ups either. 3/5. First fish landed at 3pm. Was worried I was going to get a skunkin. Great to see you have a great day, nice to see Dakota as well. Great time.

@ I agree, Bill. The fish are still stacked at the dam, seen so many surface but the temperature drop really has affected their feeding. It was nice to finally see less pressure with the cold snap.

I was fishing in that spot before the blow out and landed a monster aswell, it actually kinda looked like the one you caught, however I weighed mine and it was 10lb 4oz but yours looks bigger than that, congrats!😁

We FINALLY got a good blowout beginning this past Friday. I mostly fish a smaller private branch of the main river, so it took longer for the fish to get up. The first two trips sucked and of course the last hour before going to work it turned on. First few fish of the year so I'll take it. 8 mm peach beads and a white bucktail and ice dubbing jigs I tied were money. Be honored if you tried them. Awesome video buddy Edit. Do you like that net?
