The Salnotes Zeros do have that audiophile type sound signature, so that's a plus. My problem with the Salnotes unfortunately is in it's shape and overall feel. They are not particularly comfortable given their size and shape for long listening sessions. Which means gaming with these won't be the best. I also don't like that 7hz put their bold branding on the Salnotes Zeros themselves. That branding eliminates decreetness, and only brings attention to a already cheap looking earbud. It's tacky. I have the Chu. The Chu 2 like the Chu 1 has a shape that I know people will find far more pleasing. As for gaming, I wouldn't say that they are anything revolutionary. There is and have been other IEM'S in the sub 50 dollars price range that also excels at gaming, plus their a lot more comfortable to wear😂.

Mine has arrived and I've been using Zero for nearly 3 days straight and I must say I'm impressed by the sound quality. The sound is just really balanced and never feels lacking in any area for me. The bass is also enough in quantity while being punchy and fast when it's asked for whether it's for EDM or Metalcore. The mid while not being ultra-clear (obviously), it sounds natural and there's this lift in upper-mid region imo, so the thing like female vocal will sound more forward although it's not that intimate enough for me. The treble is airy enough and quite detail, you can occasionally hear that cymbals or sparkle, and more importantly it never feels harsh in my ears. I don't understand about some reviews that say the bass quantity is lacking.. like, how Blon BL03's will be then for my ears? Lol. Overall, Zero imo has that kind of balance sound..maybe a bit warm to my ears. Really a good sounding stuff that's suitable for all genres. A great conclusion is you can just bring these IEMs wherever you go and you won't worry about anything.

The bass and mids are perfectly balanced and neutral, though find the treble to be a bit high, and I have to listen to music at lower volume to stop it from ringing my ears. (But I've always been sensitive to treble on in-ear headphones, so maybe it's just a me thing) 7Hz0 isn't going to be my daily headphones. But it will have an important niche in my collection, and for $20 it's a great purchase and a safe blind buy.

I got these to complement my E3000. Your impressions almost exactly match what I hear. Though I'm chugging them off my android phone without a dedicated DAC/Amp. The downsides to me were the thin and metallic timbre, recessed and at times hollow mids. Those issues aside the Zeros are phenomenal for the price or even twice that. Detail across the octave is phenomenal yet natural/un-exaggerated, the extension on both ends is excellent and stereo separation/width is beyond what the price would suggest. Imaging is better than the E3000 (without a dedicated DAC). The E3000 though is FAR FAR better for vocals (even off a phone with some EQ) not just because of the added weight, warmth & smoothness but more so because of the stage height and unhindered natural scaling and 'perfect' balance/placement of male & female vocals. The e3000 is also more musical and gives you a far greater sense of emotion. All said, a big thumbs up for the Zeros, even if these were $50!

I'm planning to buy this to replace the headphones that I use on my PC. Most of the time, I play PC games and I also listen to music. I'm not gonna do any heavy audio activities. I have several questions since this is the first IEM that I'll be buying and I hope that you can help me out. 1. Can I/Should I just plug it in my motherboard then use my computer normally or do I have to buy other audio stuff to get the most out of it? I'm asking this because I have seen videos talking about DAC, amp, audio interface, etc. but I don't really know what they do and if they are going to benefit me as a casual user. 2. Do I need to download a software or change any settings in my PC that would "enhance" the quality of this IEM. 3. I haven't seen any reviews about the durability of this product. I have owned many earphones before and they all used to work fine until only one side is functioning. I'm not sure if this is also a common issue in IEM. If this IEM runs into this problem, can I simply buy a replacement cable to fix this issue? 4. If I'm gonna use a cable extender to connect it to my PC, will there be some losses in terms of audio quality? Thank you very much for your time and attention. Any suggestions and external links regarding my questions are very much appreciated.

I don't like it honestly, my brother have one and when i listened, it's a little bright and a little sibilant for my taste and the biggest bummer is that it has anemic bass. I still love the Reecho SG01, T3+ & Mele.

This guy made sure he let people know the IEMs are for $20. Mentioned the price like 50x

I have them both. I like the Zero more. It has better bass and vocal clarity.
