I got declined from 3 different medical schools even though I had a 3.9 and 520 MCAT (both well above the averages to get in-especially to the ones in which I applied). At first, I didn’t take any of the blame for the declination and blamed it on affirmative action harming my entry, which isn’t necessarily false, but regardless, I had to think of what I could do to improve my application so that I would get in. I went back through my application and noticed several errors and very simple language throughout my application. I didn’t elaborate on certain points during my statement of purpose and didn’t provide examples of the personal claims that I’d make. I basically found several errors within my application that made me seem sloppy in my preparation of this very important document, and they don’t want sloppy medical students (obviously). So I improved my language in my personal statement, improved my number of hours to shadow physicians (with a better description of what I learned while doing so), and among other miscellany, I got accepted the year following that. It’s just a matter of critically assessing oneself, and if somebody can’t do that, then he’s setting himself up for failure.

I have seen a similar pattern many times where a woman is financially abusive to a husband, using his money to subsidize her salon, boutique, or gift shop, interior design services etc. Ideally couples should set up a “firewall” of sorts between their assets. to prevent ongoing financial disasters of business ventures that are more pretended than reality. You marry a person, NOT a bank account.

I heard there was an all female business that had to get shut down because of all the gossiping LOL. When I worked at a popular chain restaurant, a lot of the teenage girls and young women had snappy attitudes over other's small mistakes and even over doing their job. A few of them pouted or cried about their personal lives or the challenges of the job. Women cannot handle the work force as well as men. Men are the more capable ones, but most women want to be independent and some think they are achieving something great when most don't achieve or invent much compared to men.

Great breakdown. I actually watched this episode of Tabatha’s Salon Takeover and I’m shocked she is still in business. She struck me as being a true narcissist. Her husband was one of the biggest simps I’ve ever seen. Usually I’m not a fan of kids going into daycare so Mom can break even at work but in this case they are probably safer having exposure to healthy adults who aren’t so infantile ..

I still remember when I was relatively newly married, many years ago, and was discussing some economical matters with my now ex-wife, during the discussion I kind of added my and her salary together, which made her crazy mad, it was her money, I learned in my marriage that her money was hers, and my money was used for everything, when I got divorced after 25 years I had nothing and she kept everything, today, as a single man, after approx 10 years I am incredibly rich, I was of course too weak, but thought the way I sacrificed my own interests should be awarded, which it was not, I sometimes meet my ex and I get the impression she kind of regret or something, but now I have learned, never again

It's not a husband's place to be "supportive" when you hear a woman say that you know it's all gone wrong. I can't believe that Good Sir was crying, It gives him such a bad look to all of us watching, and shows his wife is clearly ruling him. I just don't understand how he can allow his wayward wife to choose her failing business over his retirement, let alone his house where he lives. None of them should have been given to her, and if it's failing give her an ultimatum if it doesn't improve sell it and move on. I think he should use his brain instead of following his useless wife. When you chase the woman and worship her, doesn't matter how much money you have you will get the same result. 12-14 hour days? are you crazy? She has 2 kids she should be taking care of them not the salon. I think she needs to put in some more effort.

I've worked for someone I didn't see much. But the difference is when we did meet up I got asked "Okay anything you need and I hope you kept a list because I need you prepared... overly prepared." and before I finish the third item he stops me and writes it down and then lets me continue, making sure everything I say is documented. I had to handle the hour to hour, but if I called the secretary about anything I need. It's often there by the end of the day if it wasn't critical. If we were short a person, I had a list of people I could grab from the other end that knew how to work the area I was in and most of them didn't mind running off with me. There are good absent bosses that set up a network to keep his or her workers able to work independently and know the boss is there to help when it's crunch time. And getting a call early enough when the weather was too bad to be out and told I could work the other end and stay out of the ice and snow, that was nice.

During the three months I would try to learn how to clean whatever to just pass time and now I'm two years in and I took over on most cleaning and some ice and soda machine cleaning and no one else knows how to so I offered to train people but it was hard because they want a quick fix. Should do videos on toxic men too. This lady reminds me of someone I know who doesn't care about his family and now they lost their house due to him not able to make good financial decisions and he thinks it's no big deal while seeing his family as a burden. Why did he get married then???

This video and the one from an episode of Hotel Hell have one thing in common: Business fails when people are given leadership roles because of their gender or protected race and not by the measure of their character as an individual and their training.

My mom is a single mother by choice with a thriving law practice and she takes time to raise my sister and I. She can manage all this while this woman can't even run a salon?

Hey, you should make a video About the New vídeo of jubile the vídeo that pewdiepie reacted, was Very fun to see girls saying that the fat girl was the most beautiful and the asian hot girl was the most ugly for then when the Men come them put the fat girl as the most ugly and the asia as the most beautiful hahahaha... The fat and the Black girls blaming the west stand of beauty on why them got the last places, while the asian girl was fist and the blue eye blonde girl was only the third.

Have you considered covering the Watts case? There is a whole other side many don’t talk about. Shanann filed for bankruptcy 2 times and was heading towards the 3rd. She was spending her family’s missed mortgage payments on Thrive an MLM. Their house was excessively big and was making them house broke. (Disclaimer: Im not defending CW actions) The kids were at daycare all day and put to bed at 6pm. She filmed herself constantly and times at her children’s expense. She complained about Ceecee’s nut allergy to the degree she had an epipen, yet feeds her child an adult thrive bar on camera with tree nuts in it.. very contradicting. Sprays Bella in the face/ ear continually with a spray bottle one clip after the child had tubes put in and has chronic ear infections.. almost sadistic. Publicly shames CW on Facebook multiple times and on camera bossing him around. CW simps haaaard, even for the mistress. Worth a deep dive in my opinion 👍🏻

The change happening when she had kids make perfect sense. I went through the same thing, especially after kid #2. You go from driven career woman to burned out working mom just trying to get by and wishing you were home with your kids. The problem is if you were driven career woman you probably took on debt that would have been perfectly reasonable for a double income couple and then you instantly get trapped by that debt when the kids show up. But I still can't imagine giving up your home for your business. :/

What a load of crap....this guy does not understand business at all. Ive gone to plenty of businesses where the owners aren't around. That's why you hire a manager. I think her problem was actually working there at all. She should fire this whole staff....hire a new manager and a new staff and not work there. Seriously, how many of them put up money or took the risk to start the business? They feel like she should be working harder than them when shes PAYING them to work. What a joke. It sounds to me like her manager is undermining her with the employees...gotta get rid of that.

On the comment about the shiny board thing. When you said it’s like having to hand your mechanic tools as he works. Honestly that is a very good service to provide and maybe charge a little extra for it. You could call it Shadow Mechanic. Combine teaching with the service, what do you guys think?
