That was a nice blowdry. You are right, some people do not do it like that even though they are professionals.

Love the way she trimmed your hair, she was not scissor happy. 😊

Yall and this scissor happy mentality, is why you will never receive the results you want/need. A proper trim is based on balance, density, and the overall need/want of the client. If your ends are chewed, and lopsided just cut off the damage, and move on

@@Neosoul_primablack stylists aren’t properly trained how to do a proper haircut on natural hair. There’s no reason you should be chopping off tons of healthy hair because of split ends. Take the time to section the hair off and trim the dead hair instead of being lazy and giving everyone a blunt bob.

@@glintgirl4545 your response is exactly what my comment is referring to. My good sis Nae has known me for years, and she made the decision to have her hair cut only in a stretched state, a while ago! Just because she has color, doesn't add too much to the factors I've stated before. Not only are black stylists are taught it, they are taught to deal with all of the factors I've stated. I say this, because I was. If they aren't in school, there are several instructional industry professionals who teach classes to learn how to trim highly textured hair without blowing it out! There are also stylists of many demographics that know how to as well! Also, natural hair, doesn't just refer to black people anymore. Hair is not only always going through the 3 stages of growth, but one's density should always play a part in the trimming of process. A "Bob" is a symmetrical triangle, that is layered to one length all over. A proper trim addresses those 2 concerns, because every section of hair, doesn't not only grow at the same rate... but also can have sections that are more dense than others! Lastly, medical factors and overall care go into trims as well! So again it's up to the client, about how much they're will to get rid of, and the finish as well.

What about Rihanna's new hair care line? Also, if you have ever tried Donna's Recipe by Tabitha Brown, she came out with 4 new styling products in Whipped Vanilla Cream. They are supposed to be compatible with her original sweet potato pie products.

Support Black owned retailers. Purchase sustainably packaged products. All those plastics are horrible for the environment. Mielle sells products in packets.
