Hey my loves! Welcome back to another #salonwork video! In today's video, I'll be taking my client from a natural black to this vibrant sizzling copper without using any bleach. We'll finish this look off with a much needed trim and silk press with lots of curls and body. I love how natural this looks. I noticed that natural red heads have slightly darker roots and i love how this looked. Im going to follow this routine at home❤

i've used this in the past and loved it. I'm wanting to try it again, but my hair is getting some slight natural waves as it grows back after chemo. Do you think it'll kill the curls? I want the waves to stay!

Such an inspiration! ❤ just one question, I thought the lower the volume developer the faster it develops? Is it the other way around? Or did u put 20 for the timing, since the shaft was already saturated? Plz &thnx

If you have structure hair, put a different color on it can you apply the copper over the top of that color will you get the same results?

Did you use h7. Sizzling copper 30 volume hair shaft and the roots sizzling copper 20 volume? Could I use copper on the roots 20 v?

You did a beautiful job and this is the exact color I want! Question, if my hair is a reddish brown, should I use a 30 developer on my hair shaft or a 20 developer?

Lighter colors should use a lower volume developer. 20 volume should be good in lighter hair. The darker the hair, the higher the developer.

I’d use the root color in the video with a 10vol. Keep a close watch on it during processing

Thank you! I left it on until it got to the desired lift; about 30-40 minutes. You have to keep a close eye on it though

I dyed my hair for the first time and it took so many applications! I tried the sizzling copper first but it had more of a red hue to it. Switched to copper ....... I like it but its not exactly the copper I was looking for. Can I wait a few weeks and go back over it with copper?

Just use color oops and semi permanent to get the color you want since your hair is lightened

No, you shouldn’t use this if your hair is bleached

Make sure the hair is clean so the product can get in. Blowing the hair out also makes application easier

Yes. I would use 40vol and foils or heat because it doesn’t lift as easily on bundles

I wouldn’t do it over any other color, because it’s formulated for naturally dark hair. Your hair might turn out to be a funky blue ish color

How many boxes of each color did you need ? What's the ratio of developer to color ?

1.5 boxes for the root, 4-5boxes for the hair shaft (she has a lot of hair). I believe the ratio is 1:1, but it will say on the box. I typically eyeball

@@ashleecarlisle4849 that particular client hasn’t come in for a touch up. But you’d just use the root color/formula for touch ups. The only thing is you can’t wait too long to touch up because it’d be a different process at that time

You can used it on relaxed hair, but I wouldn’t do it on a fresh relaxer, I would wait about 3-4 weeks. Also, it will probably process a lot faster

I shampooed before because she had product buildup on her hair. The color won’t saturate well if the hair is dirty

Developer only activates the color. It is not bleach
