Salou Beachfront Fake Market Stalls - Back Streets & Souvenirs #counterfeit #fake #market

So whilst walking round Salou we noticed the absence of street vendors selling fake goods ie sunglasses, bags etc that seem to swarm you in places like Tenerife etc.
Then we came across a section of the beachfront that was full of vendors selling the counterfeit goods down quite a large area, they weren’t pushy which was quite refreshing and still managed to create a lot of sales even though it was out of season.
We then took a look at some of the streets that led away from the beachfront and wandered into souvenir shops etc and looked at local cafes and bars in the area.

That's Cambrils not Salou. There is a sign for Cambrils but your video missed it, although you can tell by the change in pavement the point where Salou ends and Cambrils starts. The vendors can't set up in Salou, they've been banned.

We were staying in Salou, we didn't notice any signs along the way. I'm assuming we must of walked far ??

@@outandaboutwithus 👍 If you look on your video when you turn your camera just as you get to the vendors, you can see the Salou sign. They literally set up 2 feet over the dividing line 😂

I've heard the street vendors..still there..but Spanish police are handing out £175 to any person that buys from them..they've even got plain clothes in operation..due to legal businesses complaining to Mayor..can you advise if that's true?? 😢😢 please

@Mccafan543. Our son came back last week and the street vendors were there, people were buying as normal, maybe they aren't always monitored but he saw nothing

You will absolutely love it. The stalls shown on the vlog were opposite the Central Forest Restraunt, address : Passeig de Miramar, 91, 43840 Salou, Tarragona, Spain. There is a great shopping area that is also open at night that looks amazing as it's lit up. I will try add a link to that video. There is also a weekly market which unfortunately we missed due to suffering with heat stroke (tip : the juice in cocktails is not enough to keep you hydrated 😉) 43840 Salou, Tarragona, Spain is the address which is open on a Monday 8am till 2pm. This was end of October and they were there daily which was good, also you didn't get the street sellers hassling you trying to sell sunglasses and watches etc, they were in this location which we found a nice surprise. If you get the chance head to the weekly market in Tarragona. Unfortunately I had sunstroke the day previous so missed it. Key tip the fruit juice in cocktails is not enough to keep you hydrated 😉 🤣 If u can be very cheeky and ask if you could subscribe as it really helps the channel. We were there the end of October and it was full and busy. I would say whilst the weather remains good they will be there as they weren't under any cover. The temps were between 24/25 °c so even warm enough for a dip in the sea. Where are you staying? Are you flying in from Reus. There is a weekly market that is on a Monday also. We didn't get to visit there as we had sun stroke🙄 Could i ask you to like and subscribe as it really helps the channel grow 😊
