Great dancing though:) I would on other side suggest kizomba - no crazy spins, social dance - you can start dancing very fast - and the connection you get is amazing! :) plus the music is made up by DJ's and they make kizomba remixes on the latest top songs! pretty cool! :)

As someone who's an experienced salsa dancer, I was amazed by this performance. For those saying this isn't salsa music - so what? You can dance salsa on this without any problems, rhythm is easy to follow and slow enough to build figures on.

Also he appears to be a free style dancer, mixing plenty of LA salsa figures with Cuban salsa as well as probably some improv figures. The music was superimposed to the video. That's rather obvious I reckon and it most certainly is a salsa song. At the very least a salsa rhythm. It is actually from a movie called, and you'd never guess this... Salsa :) Cheers, and hope you've so much by now :)

We've learned most of these moves (and even some which seem more advanced to me) although I don't feel ready to try and lead most of them on the dance floor. Try going to socials (parties) as much as you can, that's the best advice I can give you.

The dancing followed the music very well, and that's what counts. The music doesn't have to be "traditional salsa music": I've seen salsa cross-body being danced to Arabic music, and it worked very well.

You're pretty stiff man (and MOST male salsa dancers are). A lot of men I see know a ton of moves but are almost robotic. I'm old and jealous cause they are so young and beautiful and at the same time really dig watching them dance so well. I wish I had learned to do it when I was young enough to do it. Its just something that I wasn't smart enough to appreciate when I was a kid. I cant believe how effortless they make it look and wonder how much practice they have had and if they can just grab another partner and dance with the same confidence. I'm just curious.
