Honestly? I don't like him. I think he is totally overrated. He has no body movement at all, his feet are many times totally flat and his posture is bended all the time. All the merits go to her, who is able to follow everything with an excellent body moment. Did you notice? You will never see him doing shines or dancing with an average girl. Because he knows how to sell himself: that's why you can see him "teaching" all over the world while he should better stay at home. And yes: he switches from On 1 to On 2 in 1:12. Daniel Guzmán Mateu leading the girl smoothly is much more important than million super-duper shines for the outside auditory. Lead the girl and let her show herself that's what social dance is all about. There are many teachers who teach to move your own body but they are very rude at leading.

He built his fame from social dancing alone.... that alone speaks volume of his ability to lead. Edit: And yes, that switch was on purpose to cater to his audience. Some dance On1 and some dance On2.
