$275 for an "American Wagyu" would be an appropriate price given the hype around the restaurants. That's giving them a lot of grace though because it was probably a Tomahawk "gold cut" which retails for around half the price the original $275 expected charge.

In terms of the Venezuelan situation, i think Asmon doesnt understand it. The dictator of that country really doesn't care nor does Salt Bae, because what Salt Bae cares is just hanging around people who’re rich and just getting more money himself (doesn't matter if they're controversial or not). If anything, the "moral bs" isn't bs, its like the old French monarchy dining whilst their entire country starves. So idek what Asmon is trying to say about the situation regarding Venezuela.
@randomchannel5686
@randomchannel5686 Жыл бұрын
No it’s not about misunderstanding it’s just that he’s a rich person who doesn’t care. It’s the kind of behavior that’s easy for some of us to expect from him. I mean it was easy to see from the beginning to see what kind of behavior he has, being a rich person seeking money who didn’t care. Personally I expected this behavior from him so it’s easy for me to brush it off too. The man’s an idiot who is money hungry what do you expect, all politics aside. But then when someone gets injured and you can’t pay the victim that’s almost a new low. Just my 2 cents
@rangered_64
@rangered_64 Жыл бұрын
@randomchannel5686 Oh no I did expect that from him, but I just give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Same thing goes for Hasan. Either way, if they're gonna say something about a country's struggles by chatting shit about it and saying "it's not a big a deal", then that's not the best thing overall.

Hey Asmon regarding the Venezualean President. There is a difference between having a customer in front of you who you can't refuse and inviting a dictator who led his country into an truely awful state. I think you strongly underestimated the Situation in Venezuela, to give a small example. The starvation of the population has become so bad that the people commonly refer to it as "The Maduro Diet", the government at some point gave rabbit's to the population to prevent starvation, obviously that did nothing in the long term. Inviting somebody to your restaurant to eat 11kg of Meat while the population starves is a terrible look, similar terrible would it be if he served Kim Jong Un with 11kg of meat in front of some North Korean farmers. He invited Maduro for the same reason why he took the World Cup trophy and invited Saudi monarchs or famours football players, to gain fame and I think it is not too much to ask of any human being to take a step back and think for some minutes who to invite and who not, essentially breaking the question down to "Who do I want to be associated with?"

There's no "Czechoslovakia" as a country since 1993 and the "Czechoslovakian" language never in fact existed, there are two separate Czech and Slovak languages. The model's name is written in Czech, her video is named also in Czech. A characteristic feature of Czech is this letter Řř (Upper Sorbian also has it, however it is A LOT more rare).

Fidel honestly wasnt even that bad as Americans picture him... I was born in Communist Czechoslovakia so we were able to see both sides of Cuba while our regime was Communist and later also while it was Democratic. Cuba was during the cold war pretty big hotspot for tourists from Easter block so we were able to see what the Cubans thought of Castro both before and after end of the cold war, and their opinions usually reamined the same: Before Communist revolution on Cuba, they said that they were treated almost like slaves and werent able to buy nor affort anything... After the revolution living standards of an avarge Cuban improved drastically and most of them were for the first time able to get a house with hot water, heating and more than one room. What I saw and heard from the cubans, the people that emigrated were usually former influential high class citizens that used the common folk almost as slaves.

He's not Zlatan ibrahimovic, you know. Salt Bae was "famous" because people thought that sprinkling salt all over the table was the cool thing, not because he was an arrogant character

Passed by salt bae’s nyc restaurant last year. It was super empty. When there are so many other good places to have similar stuff for less expensive price. It’s only gonna last as long as his fame. Most New Yorkers go for the cheap eats.

Bruh, you can't just justify a dictator feasting like a king while his country is starving. Talk shit about SaltBae all you want but I think you didn't think clearly when talking about the dictator. If someone leads a country, it should be expected that the country or at least the majority of the country does well, in order for him to relax like that

Holy shit this was so cringe, just a bunch of karen's crying on facebook not to mention those who can't hack it at a restaurant, has anyone actually worked around chefs before in general? They're legit insane always yelling at people 24/7 but then once the shift is over act like nothing happened. I swear that is just normal working at any restaurant.
