As a life long Beach Boy fanatic, I can tell you that these guys are incredible. They capture every little nuance and note from the original studio recordings. These guys sound better than the present Beach Boy touring group with Mike Love & Company.

One of my favorite Beach Boys songs (I live just north of Salt Lake City and spent my younger years going to "a park near the city (Lagoon)." I think The Fendertones capture the "sound" of the Beach Boys better than any cover band I have heard. I like all of their covers of Beach Boys songs that I have heard--BRAVO!

I've always felt SLC was an unrecognized gem of the BB's catalog. Has possibly the best interaction between and showcase for Brian and Mike's vocal styles. Brian's falsetto at it's absolute peak. Thanks for doing it full justice.

As a follow up, don't misunderstand my earlier comments, the ENTIRE band practiced alot and made this concert a success. I just want the Band to know they should keep doing what they are doing. It's a real community and family effort. They have the support of their families and friends. Knowing that they don't tour and don't get paid for what they did simply points to their success. In a interesting way, they became a success just by going out and enjoying the process. Please keep us all posted!

This is my personal fave among all the Fendertones videos posted so far, for its absolute accuracy to the original. Wish the lead vocals could be a tad louder in the mix, but otherwise, pure nirvana !

These guys are the best tribute band in the world I grew up on the beaches in Sydney in the 60's & love the Beach Boys. The Fendertones are second to none :-)

Just brilliant. I saw the Beach Boys a couple of times in the 70s- 80s . Yes I am nearer 70 than 60. Guess what, these guys are the nearest I have heard to the originals. just wonderful. Have they got an album?

I´m a huge fanatic fan of the Beach Boys, and i use to hear them with ear phones, and let me tell you this:....In some parts, it look´s like time went back to the sixties. Keep going.

just found this Fendertones 2004 Bryn Athyn Penn concert gem,,to go along with the previous efforts. how good are the instruments here...PERFECT!!! and the vocals?....just remarkable!! as ive said before ...,the fendertones should be a huge part of Beachboys 50th anniversary celebration in 2011 Papa-ooo-mow-mow on the west coast, these guys on the east,,with Brian and the originals getting together one final time would make the summer of '11 one endless one to be sure. jctoronto

Yeah, I'm a University of Utah, located in Salt Lake City. I love the Beach Boys, horrifically underrated, and I love this song, go figure. I'd love to see the Fendertones live. Does anybody know if they're touring? They are probably the best tribute band I've ever heard.

I saw the Beach Boys perform live many times in their prime. That is part of the reason why I feel confident in saying what an incredible performance The Fendertones give. You have to give us more clips.

Every video I watch is better than the previous, if that's possible! Love that you guys perfom some of the lesser known songs, such as this one, which has always been one of my favorites. I'll agree with veryone else in saying that I would GLADLY purchase a DVD of these songs.Their love of music and attention to detail is obvious and you can tell that everyone involved is having a great time. This group creates the atmosphere of what a Beach Boy concert could have been or was like in the early 60's (before they became institutionalized). The instrumentals are right on and the vocals are very sincere. Watch the guy's on stage and how they move about. They aren't polished professionals...there kids doing what the Beach Boys did at their early stage.....their having fun with the music and lyrics. That's part of what makes this band so good. i remember buying the beach boys "summer days (and nights!)" album in 1965....i noticed 2 things...there were only 4beach boys on the cover, al jardine was missing due to the flu and the boys were moving towards Pet Sounds sonically....the fendertones have really nailed this rarely performed ditty...they do the beach boys proud

I just adore the Beach Boys and any group like the Fendertones who do such a swell job with their music. Let's hope the Beach Boys do in fact all reunite for a grand tour next year. I'd pay top dollar to see Al, Mike, Brian and Bruce together again for a smashing show. We miss Carl and Dennis.

Nope. The Fenderstones don't tour. They also say there not going to record an album. They claim this is just a hobby. You can hear some of The Fendertones in a church/choir called New Church Live uploaded here on YT on another channel by the same person who uploads these videos #EdwinAHerder is that channels name.

This song updated could have a 2-minute or so JAM in the middle & I'd love it! All the BB songs were constructed to fit AM Top 40 airplay, back in the day. The band (BB or FT, either one) get rockin out @ 1:19 then have to shut it down a mere 20 seconds later.... For the sake of accuracy, the FT DO extend the ending just a bit, but in the middle is where the energy is.

Anders Fehon. Does a fantastic job. They all do. How about that guy doing the Brian Wilson part in this song? I think it is Chad Odhner. It's not easy to do that kind of falsetto and make it sound good.

Edwin... would love some more background on this. Was this a one time gig, who are these people in the band, how difficult was it to pull this off, why not take this show on the road or else perform in Branson during the summer, have you had any comments from Brian Wilson, etc. Thanks for posting these great clips!
