Bro!!!!! That’s such a crushing feeling!!! Good stuff though!! 🔥🔥🔥. Way to go!! Just like you, I chased these giants solo all last fall! I got on them 3x but couldn’t hook up. My whole body was shaking as I made a cast to a 400lb + on a top water bite! CANT WAIT to try again!! Let’s fucking go!!!!!!

OTI 8ft tuna popping rod rated to 6oz I think. This reel was my beach Sharking reel which is the shimano Big Baitrunner 14000 long cast which is a euro reel not released in the us. It wasn’t meant for fish like that but it’s all i had at the time. But I’ve since gotten a different tuna spinning reel since then. A Saragossa 18000.
