I love the variety of dancers and body types. I am a "bigger" girl and think that it's impossible to move as quickly or as sharply as dancers who are leaner than me but the dancer on the right of the screen is a bit bigger than I am and she's on pointe! What an inspiration she is - I just need a lot more practice! Thank you for the motivation I needed. :D

Amanda is awesome. The only thing I’ve ever noticed between a plus sized dancer (usually her) and a thinner one is that some of the sharper movements get softened. Doesn’t mean she’s not hitting them & hard, just that the body shape doesn’t allow as clear a visual of them.

The BEST dancer in my opinion is probably the youngest! In the small kids group (from 4.14 mins) there is the boy with a red pullover, black and white pants and a black and white cap. Wholy shit he is AMAZING! He seems to be floating on the stage. His moves are of such high quality, it is crazy. He is the next dancing super star! He is killing it! But I also have to say that all the students and teachers are amazing! Where did they get these students from? Unbelievable, there is no one who would be bad! This is not a normal dance school for me:)

I really hate it when people say, "Wow, that big girl can dance" or "Even though she's big, she can really move" or even better, "The chunky white girl in the group". How about just saying "The girl in the red shoes, what an amazing dancer!" She is just THAT...a dancer...an amazing one at that...and shouldn't be identified by her size like 'that big girl' or 'heavy one on the right in the red shoes'. Seriously? Ignorant people just tick me off. I've been in the dance circuit for years and have seen even the smallest and in shape dancers not hold a candle to her and her impeccable timing and rhythm. I am not sure who she is but she is an amazing and talented dancer and so are many of the others on here...no matter their size. Fantastic choreography!

I am 45 and, to this day, I have no idea how so many people were so good at dancing. I've tried to learn so many times to learn modern club dancing but all the dance classes and schools keep pushing balet crap, line dancing, and friggin swing dancing on me. I can never find any place that will teach me modern hip hop dancing. I must have needed to get into the right clique or something. Still would be nice to learn and get good at it before I die. I hate leaving something I've always wanted undone.
