Nah y'all are tripping about Slim's accomplishments. His debut fight was against Fousey, a guy way over his weight class. In hindsight we can say it's not impressive but you gotta remember at the time, Fousey's skill was unknown so it was an active risk to fight a guy who has been training for the same amount of time as you but also has the natural physical advantages over you. He took this risk and then beat him. Then imo his biggest accomplishment was knocking out Temper on two weeks notice. After Temper getting KO'd twice, it's easy to dismiss the accomplishment based on what we know now, but again we have to look at the context of the situation. Temper v Kenny was a debut fight for both, and Kenny in particular was being hyped up and many expected him to win against Temper. Then Temper beats Kenny in a dominant performance. So at this time, Temper just beat one of the most promising guys on the scene and was a top contender (because not a lot of fights between other guys have happened yet) and now Slim decides to face him on two weeks notice in a weight class above his natural weight. This was a risk and everyone knew it because nobody expected Slim to win and he pulled one of the greatest upsets in the scene with a conclusive KO. Again it's easy to say in retrospect that it wasn't that great of an accomplishment but the context matters. Then he goes on to fight Zanetti and Ryan Taylor because he has the belt and thus has to face whomever the challenger is in a weight class he's not comfortable in. Man fought 3 times out of the 7 events so I'm not sure where the "he did nothing to get the belt" is coming from.

I disagree about the belts. Kingpyn are advertising their tournament saying that the winner will be p4p #1. But Kenny has got 2 Ls arguably 3. Tom zanetti had 1 L, Jarvis hadn't fought since 2021. Austin Mcbroom took an L. Filipek is a random. Gib also has an L. Whindersonn has the cleanest record, going 8 rounds with a former champ and has 1 win with 1 KO. All before the tournament. But if we're being real the competition is kind of mediocre. So one of the top 3 in the tourney should be given a title shot for the misfits middleweight championship against slim (since that is his natural weight) or go for a misfits lightheavyweight championship against salt papi. KSI and Jake Paul are already at another level, so none of them would've earned a fight against them. Slim and salt papi are at the top in terms of influencer boxing outside the tournament and ksi and jake. So unless they want to fight pro boxers/mma fighters, they should fight slim/salt papi to secure the title of best influencer boxer (since they are still influencers fighting influencers).

@@ButtersPapa Unfortunately it doesn't work like that in influencer boxing either. It's all based on hype and fanbase. Gib is hyped up by KSI and sidemen fans. Salt is hyped up via his KO's and he's got millions of followers, and is hyped up by eddie hearn and ryan garcia. But let's say someone with a smaller fanbase such as slim gets an L. The day slim loses a boxing match the chances of him getting a big fight after that is close to 0. And the reason why, is that he doesn't have as big as a fanbase as these other influencers, and he's also associated with adam saleh which has ruined his credibility and respect from others. The same can go for Ashley raksu, he beat kenny, although not in a dominant fashion, but people still want to fight kenny, but no one wants to fight ashley raksu especially salt papi because salt compared raksus performance with ATs against his. Had ashley raksu lost to kenny, he'd probably never get a fight with the likes of slim, salt papi etc.

Sounds like you both have something against slim. Whenever you lot talk about him your always assuming the worst. Temper was feared before he fought slim, slim was a massive underdog in that fight 2 weeks notice lack of strength and conditioning, coming off an eye injury. He certainly earned the belt against temper for that reason. If you care about the scene then you'd know rushing slim vs AT/Salt papi ruins the longetivity of the scene. You both are fully aware slim doesn't hold the belts anymore, he gave them up in January and lost the icb belt for not joining the kingpyn tournament. Also tom zanetti was clearly a one-off fight for slim, your acting because he fought one debut that he's gonna fight more. Tom clearly gave a tougher fight than than all of slims past opponents. Saying astrid wett earned her belt is mad, she didn't even fight the top influencer girls in the scene for that belt, it took her 1 fight to get a title shot. It took slim 5 fights to get a misfits title shot, deen 1 fight but he fought a very good opponent for that belt.

I wholeheartedly agree. Leon and Viddal are clearly biased towards Slim. They don't respect Slim, and constantly insult him; calling him a broomstick, dissing his mothers' furniture, saying his mom should change her couch, saying KSI wouldn't have to train to beat Slim. Pure hate.

AT is a pro-boxer with 6 years of professional boxing experience and 10 years in professional fighting. It is not fair for him to be hanging around the influencers who have no professional experience whatsoever. Once an influencer has crossed over to the pros, then all bets are off, but keep the line between novices and pros.
