anywhere they have jumping cactus, you should bring a comb with you. it's the best tool for removing any segments of the cactus that gets stuck to you. you put the comb behind the segment where the needles are stuck into you and pull it out real fast. It hurts but it works

As usual an excellent video. Thanks for sharing not only your adventures in metal detecting or river hunting but discovery and passing information along as well. You go, and do what a lot of us can't for our own reasons whether health, financial, family obligations, or a multitude of life's doings, we get taken along. I don't know if you realize what a positive impact that has on those who follow you. A thank you seems somewhat petty, but who you are, and what you do is very much appreciated. May you be safe, stay strong, live long, and keep doing what you enjoy.

Great adventure. That’s one nice thing about the desert country is how well it preserves all that history. In that dry climate wood can last on the surface for a hundred years or more. I explore tons of old homestead sites, stage stops, wagon roads and am constantly amazed with how long the traces of that history can last around here. On another note, I completely don’t understand how some people can be so inconsiderate of those old sites. So frustrating to see modern trash there. Really enjoying your videos. Thanks for taking the time to do them for us!

Hey Beau just a thought. If you get yourself some powdered magnesium and put a teaspoon or more of it in your water bottle you can drink it whenever you get allergies from the pollen and it will help your breathing. You can buy plain or flavored magnesium in packets or container under the name, "CALM," off of Amazon or some health food stores. I suffer a lot from asthma, but am also allergic to allergy meds.,so magnesium powder has been a life saver.

New subscriber to your channel here, great content! The only change I could suggest is that those of us using Apple IPads with crummy speakers find the volume a bit too low. I have my volume to max and can hear it ok, but turn on a fan or background noise and I find it a touch too low to hear. People on PC's won't have this problem. Thanks, love the channel so far!

A couple of friends and I went hiking up from Part Cove at Apache lake soon after a rain and found this INCREDIBLE waterfall that was gushing down and we could walk behind it. Long hike, but SO worth it! You follow the dry riverbed up from the cove and start hiking up and to the right. No trails, so it's make your own. Damn it was awesome!!!!!!! Wish I had the video to show you, but the guy that has it got into,,,, drugs,,,, so I don't speak with him anymore. But man I wish I could get my hands on that video.

great Video Been a lot of years since I went to that cave, we took the hike and it seemed like we would never get there. we had some crazy stuff happen to cameras and GPS units they kept showing dead battery in the cave but would be perfectly fine outside. later we learned it may have been spirits zapping the power to try to manifest themselves. don't know how true that is but it seemed logical as the same thing happened on the battlefields up in Gettysburg in November of the same year. we actually caught some unexplainable mist and ghostly figures on digital cameras. when they worked anyhow.
